Great location for the restaurant despite the hike down 300 steps from Oia. Had the lobster pasta which is their speciality. The sauce and the pasta was excellent - however, lobster was overcooked and hard - not moist as lobster should be. At €80 a bit pricey - although it served two people. Service was excellent. Location in the bay/harbour... More

Heard some mixed reviews from fellow travellers in our Hotel so decided to book a special evening for my wife's birthday... I wish I hadn't! Before you get there you know it's going to be twice the price of the other local restaurants due to its location. Which for a special occasion I don't mind. However first of all they... More

On a beautiful and hot August evening we made our way down to the harbour at Oia to eat here as recommended for my 50th birthday and it did not disappoint. We had the Lobster Spaghetti which was tasty but not cheap, it was very good accompanied by a lovely local rose wine. Although quite busy the service was good.... More

Our hotel (Katikies) secured us a last minute table at Sunset, right in front and on the water's edge. Calamari, mussels, Greek salad were all delicious. Sunset was beautiful and I love to get exercise after dinner! Whew, what a walk!

The view is absolutely perfect anywhere you sit here. I had the friendliest young waiter who walked me over to the fresh fish to handpick the ones I wanted. It was fried to perfection, the waiter came by and cut it open to remove the bones for me as well. After eating, I spent some time reading a book and... More

Firstly, you couldn't really see the sunset as it disappeared behind the rocks rather than reflecting off the water which was what we expected. If you wanted to see the sunset well you had to sit on the chairs on the very edge of the restaurant in front of quite deep water. And even if you can see it, any... More

Service was impeccable from the bus boy, to the waiter to the gentlemen at the fish case. They explained the different fishes and recommended the correct portions. The food was perfectly prepared. The view, what was not to like. Right on Amoundi Bay. The water lapping up to the tables the sunset it's what Oia is famous for and it... More
