The food is carefully and skillfully prepared. Our escargots were the best we've ever had. Yes, it's a classic dish, but to make it better is an accomplishment. Main courses were navarin de poisson and ris de veau. Both were delicately flavored and scrumptious. Moelleux chocolat was heavenly. Service was superb. This was the best of our three dinners in... A really nice meal with a lovely sense of care about the food. We had the 25 euro set menu ( 2 courses) Fresh fish. Lovely service. Great ambience. Felt well looked after. Classic hospitality. Highly recommended. No children's menu on paper (but we don't mind this - we like our girls to eat 'grown up' food - they offered... More

the 'little' menu was great. no one said anything about not ordering a more expensive menu. the food and service were excellent. you might have to reserve for the evening or perhaps eat on the terrace.

Delicious food, cosy interiors and good wine list. We went there around 9pm on a friday night and the service was very good. The chocolate mousse , if you like dark chocolate is a must. It's a bit on the pricey side for Etretat , but definitely worth the money, especially if you go for one of their menu options.

I had the 25€ menu for lunch and found it to be good value for the quality and presentation. The no.2 oysters were large and fresh and the fish dish was served with a wonderful sauce. The Camembert in pastry for dessert was served with lettuce leaves which seemed odd. Overall, an interesting good value menu.

Very pretentious and expensive. Never going there again. Food poorly cooked, for the price (Eu31) for a whole sole it could not have been much smaller. Rather dried out. Unimaginative, flabby vegetables. Service OK but infuriated us by asking all questions and handing bill to the wife! VERY disappointing, esp after Tripavisor 4th recommendation in Etretat.

The finest taste of Normandy, hot oysters are the best! Don't pass by, and don't forget to book in advance if you're coming for dinner.

It is a cosy place with the authentic interior in marine spirit. The meal was cooked well, also nice served, the staff was quite attentive. Actually there were nothing to criticize but still... it was not the super one. Personally I would not rank this restorant as a top one in Èretat, probably it is worth finding some other places... We were recommended Le Galion by the B and B that we were staying at just outside Etretat, we did not book and was surprised to be able to get a meal as it became clear that the restaurant was used by the locals. We had the fixed price menu which was excellent value. The tables were laid with proper... More

We were at this famous restaurant before and we used to have very decent impressions about, but last time it was a huge disappointment! First of all looks like restaurant has changed management. Young stuff barely spoke English (in such a scale restaurant they MUST understand English!). They weren't able to proper describe anything from menu. If you are ordering... More
