An average lunch

We had lunch in this nice XVII century building, just the building is worth for a visit. The menu is OK, with a nice offer on bio products (even the coca cola is a bio one). Price is OK, but quality is average, the moule with frites are not the best in class but the vegetarian burger tastes nice... read more

We found Salamandre whilst looking for La Galicon, but as it was full we decided to try Salamandre. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful and the food didn't take too long to arrive. The first thing I noticed about my gradvalax salmon salad was that it wasn't salmon but cod and incredibly salty. The salad underneath... More

I was there with my wife ank kids. The service and fooquality were horrible: Had to wait over 45 minutes to eat, 30 minutes to get to drink... And the food quality was even worse: we could not even eat the "moules" we had ordered as they had a horrible taste. Finally the service was unpolite. In short: NEVER AGAIN!

The place looks nice, but don't be fooled - this is not a restaurant in the normal sense of the word. It is a place where they serve food (true), but they don't seem to care about quality. Or taste. Or any other indicator for proper dining. Puts French kitchen (which is in itself the best kitchen in the world)... More

We thought we would try this out we didnt book so couldnt get an outside table. Inside table service is very slow compared to outside, although the young blonde girl serving us was very pleasant (sorry i dont know her name) we were left with finished meal plates for ages on the table between courses. Food was very average and... More

Located in a very characteristic building, this restaurant offers a good selection of seafood from the Atlantic sea. I took plateau 1/2 lune and it was excellent! Fresh seafood with excellent taste

We got there just before the crowd piled in, so service was good and fast, but the food is disastrous. They ran out of pasta at noon. Strange. Then the fries were totally soggy. And most dishes were practically unsalted. The Fish Duo menu is about the only good dish. Price for 4 was about 90€ (just 1 glass of... More

We went to la salamandre for lunch on a day trip to etratat. The outside of the building looked appealing and the lunch menu looked good and resonably priced. We went in, got a table in th eback room quite quiet and we had to wait forever, for the menu for the order to be taken for the food to... More
