Well, the title tells it all. It is one of these unassuming hidden treasures, which make of France the best place sous le soleil. Vive le Languedoc!

Recommended to us by owners of a Salon de The in La Grasse - Hard to find but worth it and enjoyable walking around medieval town - super menu, service and food - love the outside area with original stone.

We are regular visitors to this area and le Calicot never disappoints. It is the best In the area. The service is excellent and the food is wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic experience of eating in the region.

This is a lovely restaurant with great ambience. A must place to eat on a trip to Febrezan. We were with a group of 12, but would be a very nice place for dinner for two.

We have just returned from dinner for 12 at Le Calicot. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner of fois gras, gambos (6 large prawns) and an iced coffee dessert. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and wine. The service was friendly and prompt. Lovely decor. At 60 euro per couple this was great value for an out of the way... More

We left the motorway between Toulouse and Narbonne to find somewhere for lunch and ended up in the sweet little town of Fabrezan. Although we hadn't heard of Les Calicots it was marked up and we followed the signs to it. It's a charming place in an old house, very tastefully done up and we had lunch in their very... More

Additional to the others it was difficult to find. It was definitely a family restaurant with three set menus ranging from 19 to 34 euros, plus an a la carte. We selected the two lowest set menus without an obvious difference in quality. Of particular delight were the entrees & sweets, notwithstanding the mains of duck or rabbit being tasty.... More

A rainy day but lunch at Les Calicots boosted the spirits. The 20 franc menu is perhaps the best value I've seen around here, and the setting tranquilly. Local house red full, soft and excellent.
