I found this restaurant by accident. Staying in St Laurent de la Cabriesse where there was nothing open on a Sunday evening, I drove to the Fabrezan, the next sizeable village . I followed the signs for 'Les Calicots' down the pretty little alleys hoping it would be open and, yes, it was. The staff received me very well and... More

We dined here on Saturday night with family who we were visitng in France . This is the third time we have been here and we love it, the food is amazing and the service and atmosphere too, we can't fault this place, the only downfall is it is in France and not manchester, you have to book but if... Excellent local produce cooked by a creative and inventive chef! We have been going to this restaurant for 8 years and have never once been disappointed. Remember to book as it is often very busy. Beautiful decor and comfortable seats too!

My wife and I (and 5 month bump) enjoyed a 3 course meal each at Les Calicots on the last night of our holiday in this area. Our starters were chicken liver pate with onion marmalade and seafood St Jacques, our mains were 7 hour slow cooked lamb and honey roasted belly pork and our desserts were chocolate mousse and... We visit this restaurant every year when we are in the area and it never fails to please. It is difficult to find, park on the main road near the bridge below the church and walk up the stairs and through the little square. I had the terrine du garden as a starter and it was wonderful. We will definately... More

We ate here on two occasions. Unlike other reviews, our experiences were mixed. The first night was quite good, but the second was a real 'fawlty towers' experience, rounded off by the owner making us wait for 10 minutes to pay the bill, while she chatted with some friends. Her offhand 'Pardon' was classic. Sorry, but we cannot share the... More

This restaurant's food is really tasty, with a lot of choice, and a series of menus at varying prices. The restaurant itself is really pretty with an inside part (with air conditioning) and an outside seating area and the deco is lovely. The best part of the experience was the welcome we got and the constant care throughout our meal.... More
