Possibly the best crepes ever!!

We stopped in this gorgeous medieval hilltop village for a late lunch / snack. My husband had a trios fromages crepe and I had the butter, sugar & cinnamon. They were to die for and I could happily have wolfed both mine and his! Absolutely heavenly!

What can I say? The owner an English woman is very friendly the local nicely decorated and the outside tables have a nice view of the main drag of this small village. Probably due to an overwhelming amount of clients and only two waitresses including the owner to deal with them the service was - fittingly in Burgundy - at... More

My daughters had the tomato, mozzarella, pesto crepe which was delicious. I had a small salad with roquefort, apples and walnuts which was equally tasty. Both my husband and daughters had a crepe either with ice cream/creme anglaise or with nutella--both were excellent. Yum!

Having been in the past days only to gourmet, Michelin-starred restaurants, we were craving for a genuine traditional experience in the area. We chose very well. This is a delightful small restaurants, decorated in a rustic way with a fireplace as the centerpiece of the room. The escargots (snails) were very good and so was my dessert (sour cherries in... This delightful cafe/restauraunt was serving food on a Monday and we were deliughted to find it open as we had just cycled to the Chateau Commarin down the road and the cafe in that village had been closed. So we were hungry by the time we got here. It seems to serve food all day. I think the owners are... More

Great food, reasonable pricing. They don't have the traditional "menu" option of 3-4 course meal that most places do, but the main course comes with veggies and portions are generous. Only 4/5 because my escargot and my guinea we over cooked. Would happily visit again.

Best dinner we have had in france yet. My husband had the lamb (agneu) and I had the escargot crepe......wow! Just wow! We are shocked for the price at the quality of a meal we had. Family owned..very good English (actually from England). Do not miss this gem!!!! Seriously. For the price I cannot even believe we had such a... More
