Absolutly amazing!

Best dinner we have had in france yet. My husband had the lamb (agneu) and I had the escargot crepe......wow! Just wow! We are shocked for the price at the quality of a meal we had. Family owned..very good English (actually from England). Do not miss this gem!!!! Seriously. For the price I cannot... read more

This little restaurant is in the middle of the village of ChateauNeuf, so medieval, so outstandingly beautiful, and so unexpected. Wonderful food in the best of settings.

We stayed at a b&b in Chateauneuf and this restaurant was yards away! What a perfect choice, the couple who run it are English but the meals are very French. Lovely atmosphere with a log fire in the middle and restaurant very busy. Hope we can return one day. The village itself is enough to bring you back, so picturesque... More

Nice little restaurant with friendly English speaking owner in the middle of fabulous Chateaueuf-en-Auxois. Take your time before or after your meal to walk around the village. The restaurant itself is very cozy with fireplace in the center. Food was ok for me but what really got stuck in mind were crepes! Presentation was amazing, my crepe with ice-cream was... More

My husband and I had lunch here two times during our stay in the area in June 2014. The crepes were excellent and reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly. If we return to Chateauneuf in the future, we'll be back there again...

Stopped by for lunch and had both savoury and sweet pancakes (ate far too much) last day of our Burgundy holiday and a "must do" was some french crepes. Very tasty food in lovely surroundings. The village and castle is worth a detour.

Good French menu with reasonable prices. Wine list has half bootlegs of burgundy wine in the back, so don't miss them. Large portions of everything. Great crepe choice. The cheeries in custard was large enough for two. The proprietor's wife is English, so it was fun to converse with her.

WE love this chef's food. He had been supplying us with salads and quiche and desserts all week on our barge cruise. So, when we were told we were eating at his restaurant we were drooling at the prospect. I highly recommend this restaurant! I love his homemade pate. The wine list is fantastic. But the best were the crepe desserts.... More

Always difficult to find in places which are tourist orientated, but probably the pick of the restaurants in Chateauneuf. We were there in low season (early October), with four tables in use (the Gallo-Belge, ie us, Americans, French and the Brits). Menu not massive but the home made saucisson is awesome and well recommended. The wine list is also very... More
