Chic and comfortable, the Leonardo Cafe can give its customers the taste the flavor of "made in Italy". Located in the center of Santa Maria a few steps from the sea, you'll enjoyintimate and relaxing atmosphere for lunch and dinner, with a wide range of wines. With these words Leonardo da Vinci referred to his hometown and to the areas on the hills of Montalbano where the land yields genuine products and good will. Here, where hills, villages, priories, villas and farmhouses are surroundedby vineyards and olive groves, the presence of the Great Genius can still be felt.

Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced good food. One of the best places we had a meal at. Thoroughly recommend it.

I should have written this months ago, I went in March with my partner and had a great meal. He had the lobster, perfectly cooked and I have never seen such a generous portion. The salsa it came with was lovely. The best Carpaccio of Octopus he has ever tried, and he knows his food. I had the lamb, well... More

But for us the place wasn't our cup of tea...and having to listen to the manager/owner making small talk with the Americans on the next table was a bit much ...although not his fault the Americans fault. Strange staff the girls couldn't tell us much about the dishes on the menu...maybe there lack of English ? We wouldn't go again,... More

I don't have even one small negative about this restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful, interesting and romantic. The food was beyond delicious, the wine perfection and the staff so warm and friendly. You must check out the uniqueness of this gem in the heart of Santa Maria.

We have been to Sal many times before and visit this restaurant each time. We have seen it slip down the rankings on tripadvisor recently and despite the many new establishments on offer decided to revisit Leonardo Cafe which with hindsight turned out to be a mistake. It is priced at the higher end of restaurants in Santa Maria but... More

This itailian restaurant is absolutly ok for a pizza or pasta in Santa Maria when you got tired of all the sea food. The restaurant is well kept and it seems to have a very good standard. The service was ok but grumpy. Almost no eye contact or smiles.

very nice restaurant, the staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. They also served very nice rose wine at a reasonable price. I ate the lamb ribs from New Zealand, very tasty, big portion and served with creamy mash potatoes. If I was staying longer in CP I would have returned. Good location to the centre.

Ate here last night. We both ordered the steak and both chose to have our sauces on the side, rather than served on the steak. I had the cheese sauce and my partner the pepper and rose sauce. The steaks came with mash potato and cooked medium, as requested and were as good as I've had anywhere. Well worth a... More
