Old world Italian Food

We have been going there for at least 30 years and the old world food is always a great treat. Nothing beats the Focaccia bread on the table with butter. Love the giant ravioli or the mixed plate. Thoroughly enjoy taking home the leftovers for the next day. We have taken home the pasta tray, bow... read more

This place was recommended by the owner of the the B&B where we were staying. While the location (Pine) was a little questionable the meals and service greatly made up for this. The wide selection of the menu made you think and rethink your order. The Calamari was excellent. The food was plentiful and delicious. We had a party of... More

My experience at this restaurant was certainly mixed. The waitress was very friendly and she provided very good service. The restaurant is certainly comfortable without being overbearing. There were four of us in our party. Two of us ordered the beef braciole, one person ordered the pork dish and the other member of our party ordered spaghetti and meat balls.... More

The same family has owned this spot since 1927 and I can see why it's full of friends, family, and travelers. Real Italian food such as pizza, chicken parm and ziti. Fresh salad and garlic rolls as a side were almost ignored but very good also. The history of the family lines the walls with pictures.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a stranger at a car rental. When we pulled up to park, it didn't look that great from the outside. When we went in it was good. "Excellent Italian food" clean, and friendly people!!!

We have eaten in this restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal. This occasion was a banquet for Circus Saints and Sinners Convention. The amount of food was unbelievable and the taste was fantastic. It is mostly served family style and there is more than enough food, in fact most of the time it has been too... More

Recommended to us while passing through Niagara Falls. A nice, large room. Friendly and attentive management and staff. The bread was excellent, the soup was excellent (try the stracciatella), and the entrees were very good. I usually only like my own meatballs but these were very good. Reasonably priced and a parking lot, too!

We wanted to be served, but we went into the wrong side. Doors to the left was the fast food side. after 8pm, they do this discounted food thing where you take a number to get served non sold food.

Chicken, veal dishes (french, parm, scallopini)were pressed patties made with filler and probably frozen. sauces were bland! Gnocchi was heavy dough balls and not very good. Side of pasta with clam sauce bland as well. Service was very good. If not pressed for time and extremely hungry we would have sent it all back.
