Old world Italian Food

We have been going there for at least 30 years and the old world food is always a great treat. Nothing beats the Focaccia bread on the table with butter. Love the giant ravioli or the mixed plate. Thoroughly enjoy taking home the leftovers for the next day. We have taken home the pasta tray, bow... read more

Hello.. I was visiting Buffalo for my High School's 100th Memorial Celebration, and it was great....the next day, I arranged a big Brunch at Como's great Italian Restaurant for all of my family there...sisters, cousins, nieces, grand nieces and nephews, and friends..there were 20 of us! The menu was excellent...we all ordered our appetizers, and entrees and the service was... More

Recommended to us while passing through Niagara Falls. A nice, large room. Friendly and attentive management and staff. The bread was excellent, the soup was excellent (try the stracciatella), and the entrees were very good. I usually only like my own meatballs but these were very good. Reasonably priced and a parking lot, too!

We wanted to be served, but we went into the wrong side. Doors to the left was the fast food side. after 8pm, they do this discounted food thing where you take a number to get served non sold food.

Chicken, veal dishes (french, parm, scallopini)were pressed patties made with filler and probably frozen. sauces were bland! Gnocchi was heavy dough balls and not very good. Side of pasta with clam sauce bland as well. Service was very good. If not pressed for time and extremely hungry we would have sent it all back.

There is only one place that can serve up the best Italian, home made"s"...macaroni, sausage, bread. And add that to the best eggplant parmesan, clams, roasted peppers and onion and the most unique pizza bread ever, this is a hard place to beat for great food. Attended a shower there yesterday and everyone is still raving about it.

Nine of us went to the Como for Easter dinner. The place was very crowded but we had a reservation and were seated right on time. Our group ordered various dishes from the menu and some chose the buffet. All of us were very pleased with our food and we all had plenty to eat. Prices were very reasonable and... More

Great Food, but out dated atmosphere. The food is served family style and the sauce is homemade. My family has been going here for years.

My wife and I stopped in here for a late lunch on Friday after a visit to Wedge Liquors just down the street. I didn't want to forget my duty free allowance to take across the border. Como's was a family place that I had the pleasure of visiting almost fifty years ago when the Ontario drinking age encouraged teenagers... More

Based on a 35 year dining experience, and getting to know the family I now have to rate this restaurant a 3 on a scale of 10. I dined 4 months ago. In the last 18 years it has ever so slowly gone from a 9 rating to what I belieave a 3 rating. While the food is palatable the... More
