Ate here for dinner - the menu is standard Japanese / Korean. Party had wakame salad (good), tempura appetizer (excellent), california roll (competent), Yook Kye Jang - lots of soup base, little brisket, egg, oily; Service was indifferent - server told us to get him when we needed him, and then headed off to the computer. Had to ask for... More

We were looking for a place where out grandchildren could have a fun meal and we could find something vegan. A Japanese restaurant seemed like it might work. They really enjoyed their dinners. There were two vegetarian and two vegan options on the menu, so we got by. The food was delicious. The choices were limited for us.

I'm only giving it four stars because from the outside it looks sketchy - the grass (mostly weeds) isn't even mowed. But go inside and it's lovely. Totally authentic, too - most of the patrons were Korean, I believe. I avoided the seafood because of one of the TripAdvisor reviews, and got the BiBimBam (?) on the recommendation of another... Neighborhood is not good, but the restaurant is very clean, nice and updated. Korean soups taste great. Steamed rice was not cooked properly, and moisture level was not uniform. Items may be a little overpriced, but I understand it might be normal in this famous tourist site. Overall it is a nice restaurant.

I have realized that it has changed management, and for the better. In general meals are relatively expensive in this tourist area, and thus inevitably its price was substantially higher. However, I liked the food was fresh and the restaurant was clean. I had Bibimbab (mixed vegetable/meat with rice in a hot stone pot), and it tasted right. It was... More

This place is a mix of Korean and Japanese. The food was great and service was excellent. I'm in Niagara Falls Canada now. Last night, my sons wanted to try something different. We were not sorry. We went to Young Garden and were greeted by friendly people who were happy that we were there. I ordered the BBQ Seafood. It... More

Convenient location, lots of parking, lots of different dishes, family friendly. A good spot if you are starving and have a hankering for uncomplicated Chinese food.
