We love billy joes because the food is good. They have live bands on the weekends and different activities during the week. We have been there for tuesday night line dancing. There is no fee to enter and families of all ages join in the dancing. Perfect dance floor area on the outside deck. Wednesday is karaoke night and boy... More

I was finally getting a chance to try a Po'boy. WE went for lunch and walked through the doors at opening. We were seated immediately and waited on immediately. Our waiter was attentive, got our drinks right away and took an order for appetizers. The appetizers were at the table in good time and our waiter took our entree orders.... More

Seated outside, it took 15 mins for the waitress to ask my drink order. While she was pleasant, she was not very attentive. Ordered the 1/2 rack monster (baby back) ribs with brisket ($24), baked beans and broccoli with cheese sides. Food arrived very quickly. Food was luke-warm at best. Brisket and ribs were fairly generic.. not dry but not... More

The bbq offerings are very good. Service is fair to good. Lots of interesting old stuff to look at on the walls.

I had the meatloaf dinner, it was very good, it came with two sides. It had the mashed sweet pototoes and cole slaw both were good. We were out on their deck/dock, great view of the Hudson, lots of boats. Don't let your eye get bigger then you stomach, the portions are large.

Family style casual restaurant right on the Scenic Hudson River in Newburgh, NY. The decor is typical of BBQ establishments with a variety of vintage signage and taxidermy, but if the weather permits you'd be wise to choose outdoor seating and watch the boats go by. My kids loved the ducks and geese swimming mere feet away from our table,... More

We came here for my birthday lunch. It was disappointing. The veggie wrap had no flavor and my partner said her ribs were disappointing as well. For a place that specializes in ribs, she expected better quality. Her lunch cost 23.99 and was huge but mediocre. I did say something to the waitress about my wrap and she took it... More

Billy Joe's is located on the Newburgh waterfront with veiws of the Hudson river and Mt Beacon. Had the 1/2 rack of ribs, the biggest 1/2 rack of ribs I've had at any restaurant. I even took some of the home. For the price and the amount of food I'd say it was reasonably priced. Our sever was also very... More
