Family owned since 1990, Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant opened it’s doors to invite their community to experience the culinary richness of Peru. Today our menu reflects the fusion of styles and tastes that Peru is so famously known for. We pride ourselves in preparing all of our plates with the freshest ingredients in our contemporary and time-honored dishes. The imported mahogany and cultured stone design of the restaurant provides a warm ambiance for your dining experience, along with the décor which has been all crafted by Peruvian artisans and displayed to evoke an inviting and rustic feel for our customers. We also offer a full bar that is stocked with top shelf liquor as well as domestic and imported Peruvian beers. Come try our Pisco Sour – a classic Peruvian cocktail – which has said to be the best in Hudson Valley!

Delicious food, wonderful service.

Been eying this place for months every time I passed by. Finally, stopped by late on a Sunday night. I felt bad for coming in so late, but the staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Where to start.... Service - just awful. A four-top next to us left after getting tired of waiting for any attention. Two other 4-tops still had dirty dishes on them, however when my friend and I got up to put our coats on, the sour-puss busgirl reached around us and nudged my friend out of her way to clear our... Went to this restaurant on upper Broadway for late dinner. Service was was outstanding. We ordered tow whole chickens for four of us, which tuned out to be way too much. Arroz Verde Cilantro was delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive. He made you feel like he was glad that you had stopped in. A lovely place to bring a... More

I was back here after a long hiatus. I actually told a bunch of friends about it and we went there. Place is quiet just like the last time I was there. We all loved our dishes, I absolutely love mine it's similar to fried rice or chicken biryani but I can't remember the name. Drawback is location and street... More

Once again (2 lunches in a row)--a cold restaurant. My wife ordered the Carapulcra (marinated chicken with sauce, dried potato and rice) and I ordered the rice & beans. We had a choice of soup or salad with lunch and we both chose the salad which wad good-lettuce, red beets, tomato, red cabbage and carrot with an excellent dressing. As... More

We had never experienced Peruvian Food before, and were so pleased with our lunch at Machu Picchu. We started with the Yuca Frita, as we loved the Yuca in Puerto Rico, and were not disappointed. Then I ordered the Pescado a lo Macho and found the unique flavors to be great. My wife had the Peruvian Plella and was very... More

Nice atmosphere, good Ceviche and chicken. Even though this restaurant is tucked away in the heart of Newburgh, it was worth the hard to find Peruvian food in the hudson valley area. The restaurant has a beautiful bar area for evenings and the staff was very pleasant.

One of the best restaurants in the area. I have the steak with the spicy rub. Really good meat, although watch out for the portion size - it's massive! In terms of deserts, the Tres Leches cake is to die for. We will go back again.
