Description: Family owned since 1990, Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant opened it’s...
Family owned since 1990, Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant opened it’s doors to invite their community to experience the culinary richness of Peru. Today our menu reflects the fusion of styles and tastes that Peru is so famously known for. We pride ourselves in preparing all of our plates with the freshest ingredients in our contemporary and time-honored dishes. The imported mahogany and cultured stone design of the restaurant provides a warm ambiance for your dining experience, along with the décor which has been all crafted by Peruvian artisans and displayed to evoke an inviting and rustic feel for our customers. We also offer a full bar that is stocked with top shelf liquor as well as domestic and imported Peruvian beers. Come try our Pisco Sour – a classic Peruvian cocktail – which has said to be the best in Hudson Valley!

Newburgh is either a city on the verge of falling into oblivion or climbing its way back into being more than a shell of what it used to be. This being the case, we were surprised to find such a quality dining establishment in a run-down, half-empty downtown. From the outside we were unimpressed and about to turn around and... More

Today after antiquing but before checking out the festival we decided to revisit this Peruvian restaurant on Broadway. We were warmly greeted and immediately sat. There was on another couple in the dining room when we were sat and they had finished their meal but it took quite a wile for our waitress to bring menus. After that shakeup start... More

Been eying this place for months every time I passed by. Finally, stopped by late on a Sunday night. I felt bad for coming in so late, but the staff was incredibly kind and friendly. I ordered the a cilantro rice and chicken dish with a delicious peruvian sliced potato. SO GOOD! First time having Peruvian style food and I... More

Where to start.... Service - just awful. A four-top next to us left after getting tired of waiting for any attention. Two other 4-tops still had dirty dishes on them, however when my friend and I got up to put our coats on, the sour-puss busgirl reached around us and nudged my friend out of her way to clear our... Arroz Verde Cilantro was delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive. He made you feel like he was glad that you had stopped in. A lovely place to bring a... More

I was back here after a long hiatus. I actually told a bunch of friends about it and we went there. Place is quiet just like the last time I was there. We all loved our dishes, I absolutely love mine it's similar to fried rice or chicken biryani but I can't remember the name. Drawback is location and street... More
