Sushi is the best around and always fresh! Also many non-fish items on the menu if you like the traditional Chinese/Japanese dinner options. The ambiance is great and it's perfect for a date night, family dinner, or just out with friends. I highly recommend!

An institution for decades, this old Asian fusion stalwart is solid and reliable. with a wide range of small plates, mains and sushi, Yobo has something for everyone. A small but decent sake and Asian beer selection rounds out the experience. the eager and helpful staff is attentive and on point. The ambiance is not what you would expect in... More

I've been going to this place since 1982, and I'm going on 42 years old. In all the years ,the food has always been delicious and consistent. My husband and I , love the staff as well. They are like family to us. Absolutely the BEST!! sushi.

Maybe they try to do too many cuisines. They don't get any of them right. The Korean chapchae wasn't made with chapchae noodles but with pad Thai noodles. The sauces all tasted more like Chinese take-out, and the salmon in the maki rolls was chopped up bits and mushy. To top it all off, there was a business conference in... More

My husband loves sushi and finding this place is like finding a gold mine. He says the sushi is the same every single visit. While I don't enjoy sushi, I have gotten the sesame chicken multiple times and is made exactly the same way every time. The food does not upset my stomach like some Chinese/Japanese places in the area.... More

I do a Duck Orange, or the Wai Sio Duck, which I find excellent, and you can count on it. they also make the best Crab Rangoon of any place I go. My guests did a variety of dishes, all very much enjoyed. Yobo is consistently good, and has been on my list for over 30 years

Yes, the decor is a little out dated, but it gives off an Asian vibe and sets the stage for some great food, including their seasonal pumpkin soup with ginger, love it.

So no, it's not world class cuisine and it's in serious need of a remodel - but my wife and I have been going to Yobo for years for two important reasons: the friendly, attentive staff and the warm feeling you get from all that dated campiness! Plenty of Asian themed goodness, soothing music and that special lighting that only... More

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first visited this restaurant. The décor brought me to places I’d only dreamed of visiting in the South Pacific. Tiki lamps, totem pole carvings and bamboo plants abound. A calming water fountain and warm, low lighting creates a relaxing vibe. The food is generally delicious and affordable. (I eat here about once a... More
