3 of us just ate at the Corner Tavern, and overall it was very good. The French onion soup was not very good, but everything else was. Bacon wrapped scallops were delicious, as was the chicken French, side spaghetti, fettuccini alfredo, bread, and Italian wedding soup. Waitress was very friendly and pleasant.

Was a good place to dine untill new management. The portions are smaller and prices higher. Food is so so. It will do if you are in a pinch.

The meal was very good, the service was excellent, and the decor was tasteful. Not to put down Newark, which is a fairly small country town, but I didn't expect a restaurant this nice to be in a town like this! We'll certainly go back.

Friendly staff. Great food at fair prices. Great daily specials. Awesome desserts. Separate dining room from bar area, although the bar was nice.

New to the area and ordered curbside to go Friday night. It was ready in less than 30 minutes and was delicious! We ordered the following: Calamari - appropriately featured appetizer. My boyfriend devoured it. Artichokes French - I'm pretty picky with my Artichokes French, these were tasty, I didn't want to share! Ruben Sandwich - good balance of meat... More

We go to the corner frequently because we did find something on the menu that we like and they do pretty good. It has not been good when we venture off that path so we get the same thing every time. It has the potential to be a good place with a little more work from the owners. When the... More

Terrible, tasteless, poorly cooked and shamefully presented food and rude hostess. Years ago this was a nice place to eat in recent years it has been awful. Tried to give it another chance and believe me we really wanted it to be good because it would be great to have a place nearby for a good meal, but wish we... More

They've upped ALL of their prices. I don't have a problem paying high prices - if they are worth it. This is not a 4 star restaurant - don't need to price it as if it were. It was a good restaurant before, but certainly not at the current prices. I could even accept it if certain prices went up... More

My wife and I have been here many times mainly just to go somewhere else. The food here frankly is really good. The service well that is what is the big put off. The owners have never acknowledged our patronage but we are not alone they are equal opportunity in that department. Friday night we arrived at 7:30 and were... More

We were on a group tour that was staying at the Palmyra Inn in Palmyra NY. The Inn does not have a restaurant so they contract with the Corner Tavern to supply the dinner buffet for the group. It was really a shame that they presented such a tasteless display of food to our group. Chicken pieces were not fully... More
