Am I kidding, I am not...The staff said there was no cook and the place was empty other than a state trooper. Anybody can cook eggs, well maybe not! Anyway, i'm glad we left because we had a very nice breakfast in Highland Falls where the USMA (West Point) is located.

Normally a stop on a Sunday morning after an Army football weekend becuase of its proximity to the Days Inn up the hill. We had a party of 12 and waited almost 45 minutes to be served our food. The waitress was super and hustling the whole time. The problem was management only had two waitresses on duty for the... More

This diner was suggested to us at the airport. They place itself was nice inside... and they are very proud of their self-proclaimed amazing salad bar. It was good, but nothing extraordinary in my opinion. I had a pasta special which I thought lacked flavor... was watered down. The other guest I was with had chicken and he seemed to... More

Parts of the salad bar was actually very good. Salads overall were good; crisp greens, excellent pickled salad, very good imitation seafood salad. The pea soup was excellent, but the chicken soup was nasty. Open faced turkey and pot roast were ok, they might think about upgrading the canned gravy, but not bad. I will never understand serving frozen soggy... More

Taken here by Newburgh natives who said that this place was under new management and the feeling in Newburgh is that the restaurant is better as a result. Enormous menu! Hard to make a decision. I had the Aloha burger with pineapple, onion, terriaki sauce and Swiss cheese. It was delicious. It came with fries , coleslaw and a pickle... More

I stay at the Days Inn which offers a 10% discount at Johnny Ds which they will find any reason not to honor! (no drinks, no specials,ect...) the first time iwas there the cook showed up drunk and was threatining the staff with a knife. The staff is totally untrained. i would not reccomend this place at all!!

We had their specials and the food was very good with large portions and a nice salad bar with unique items on it. We enjoyed our meal,
