aka Greasy Nick's a quintessential Roadside Dive

Leno's is known as Greasy Nick's by the locals. The grill probably hasn't been cleaned in years, which is why the Cheesburgers are so savory. They come with or without onions on a toasted kaiser roll, not a bun. To it's namesake signage there are also Clams available, plump freshly shucked... read more

Living in Westchester, one misses having road-side, drive-ins and funky cheap eats. Leno's has sewed up this as its draw. The college kids who work there make you feel young again and the Harleys parked curbside make you feel hip. Go there...for the corn, the price, being outside, and for feeling like you are on a road trip, only without... More

Lenos is a tradition. The burgers are the best and the corn is great. Get it to go and enjoy it at home after a long week. Very good and great prices too

ok the owner has six kids...the prices got a little high.....just get a cheese burger or two with onions, fries, a beer or soda . You got sea air, a non- descriptive place, that reeks of non conformity to mass marketing. A through back, a hang out. Been going on and off for forty years. When I am back in... More

I've been here a couple of times. Sort of a summer ritual. Went on Saturday for my traditional Cheeseburger with onions, fried clams, fries and a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Pretty good. Good amount of food for the money. Cash only. Good enough to go back next year. Table available right away. Service was quick and polite.

We have been driving by here for over 35 years . We were heading out for a hike in Mount Kisco and finally decided to stop in and give it a try . People raved about fresh corn on the cob but a refer-truck delivered it frozen . Burgers are frozen and greasy as well . Had to keep the... More

I stopped here after work to grab a bite with my husband today. Walked in and sat at the counter...everyone behind the counter watched us and kept doing what they were doing....wiping the counter, making burgers, picking up orders and standing talking to the person making the burgers. NO ONE said i will be with you shortly or asked if... More

OK, it's fried and maybe it's not the healthiest way to eat. If you can live with that, the place is a classic - fried clams, fresh corn on the cob, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, beer, paper plates and plastic glasses, and all on the street in the middle of no place in particular in New Rochelle. When the... More

If you can handle eating on a bench that has seen better days and needs a swab, food that is on plastic, etc., etc., this is for you. Very simple and basic and not at all cheap.
