If you go get the lunch pachage. You will not be dissappointed. Many great trails to hike. The hotel is old world, explore the interior and make sure your around for tea and cookies at 4:00. It's pricey but you get what you pay for, unbelievable charm and beauty.

The Mohonk Mountain House is worth visiting even if you aren't hungry (actually that's probably best, since the food is good enough but hardly gourmet.) However, the building and the surrounding grounds are worth saving up your pennies. Built as a summer lodge back in the day of horse-pulled carriages, the resort still attracts visitors who return again and again.... More

Great food, often served as an expansive gormet buffet. Setting of course is unsurpassed, accomodating staff.

Out of the way for dinner, unless you are staying in the hotel. In general the food is tasty, but over the years we've experienced very small dinner portions and limited choices.

Years back, the food was just OK. They've stepped it up and the food is great - both the buffet and ordering from the menu

Falsely advertised. Awful food. Leaves more to be desired . Service was fine.

I’ve only been to the Sunday Buffet, so I can’t speak about the restaurant on any other meals served here. But as far as the Sunday buffet, I was disappointed. Only one chef making omelets for around 200 people is just not effective. And he only had three burners to use. And he let the two people in line in... More

Great views. The main trails are very well maintained. You need at least a full day, preferably two, for an adequate appreciation.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Mohonk Mountain House. The buffet has something for everyone. A little disappointed with the dessert part this time, seems somewhat scaled back. The food variety is extensive. Great salads and cheeses. Something for everyone for main courses. Well worth the drive up the mountain. The room is grand and the service was excellent. We felt...
