The buffets were just awesome with so many choices. And the carving stations had some excellent selections, as well, that changed from meal to meal.

The meals were average to good but nothing great. They were included in our room package but are very pricey if not staying at the resort. (A Sunday lunch buffet is $98 for two people.) Some food, like the waffles at breakfast were very good. Other things, like the bbq chicken at lunch was dry and not very tasty. We... More

We wanted to see this resort as the pictures in brochures are beautiful. We pulled up to the gate and said we were coming for lunch. The charge was $73 per person for the buffet. Considering the price we expected something spectacular, on the contrary, the food was fair at best and we were served along with a bus load... More

For an all-in-one price dining experience, the food was surprisingly good. We ate at the breakfast and lunch buffets, and both offered a variety of food, all fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. Servers were prompt with beverages and clearing plates. Dinner in the formal dining room was delightful, from the diverse menu to the attentive service.

Nothing really wrong with this place, just isn't worth what they charge to eat/stay/hike here and the staff isn't really that well trained in customer service. It's a pretty setting but not as unique as they market it as, especially if you've ever been to the Adirondacks or any of the national parks out west.

Good: desserts, basic greens for salads. Average: side dishes, vegetables. Inedible: many of the entrees. There was pasta with bolognese sauce; the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was over salted. The cost was like fine dining, but this was more like airport dining.

Consistently good food and attentive service in a beautiful atmosphere. Slightly pricey, but in line with other resort restaurants. The high tea is a favorite with us and is a lovely treat on a winter afternoon. My only criticism is that the level of service varies somewhat between the summer and winter months. The additional staff that are hired during... More

We went over to Mohonk for Easter brunch. Its a bit more expensive than we would normally spend, but we wanted to have a special treat. The brunch was good, but there just seemed to be little things that were a bit off. There was a good variety of salads, which were very good, along with selections of cold sausages,... More

We had lunch in the Carriage Lounge and the bartender was wonderful with recommending specialty cocktails and wonderful fries with truffle oil and parmesan. Everything in the dining room was delicious and the breakfast buffet was also very good. Enjoyed every bite we ate and didn't mind the pounds we gained!

we dined in the formal dining room Feb. 15, 2014. We were told we could use the amenities. On the phone we were told "high tea" @ 4pm. It was tea and cookies-which was nice..but very informal. The only amenities beside tea...was going outside in the snow..we were dressed formal. Dinner missed the mark. Service was slow. At times...missing. Dinner... More
