Such good, home style food.

Not fancy, and the wait staff is very casual. It is also very tiny. But the food is worth a visit - we go out of our way to get there. Turkey Biscuit Pot Pie is irresistible. Chocolate CHubbies (cookies) are a must-have The Mushroom Bread Pudding is excellent. Oddly, they were out of a lot of... read more

Went there on a Sunday at 6PM (they close at 8PM) with my family for dessert and when we got there they had not one piece of cake. This was particularly upsetting because we left the restaurant we ate dinner at to go there for dessert and would have just stayed where we we where. Pretty much every picture on... More

Been living in town for 3 years. Never been here before. Bought some deserts to go. Lemon pie went straight in the trash. Putrid. Trifle was tasteless and dull. Very disappointed. Will not be back. Surely you can do better than this?

Charming, tiny restaurant with outdoor tables too. Delicious salads. Nice place for a quiet lunch or afternoon snack.

Went with my mom for dinner mid-week and ate outside. The deck dining area is minimal and not exactly comfortable. The tables are a bit rickety, and chairs hard (with little relief provided by the pillows ripped at the seams). The menu was confusing and repetitive, with the dinner menu starting somewhere in the middle of the page and repeating... More

I am grateful to the recommendation for Village TeaRoom. Everyone was great, the food was delicious, and the ambience was charming. Our group of five appreciated the flexibility of dining outside and then moving to a cozy place inside when the summer showers surprised us all. A delightful experience.

We had a birthday dinner here after a recommendation from a local friend and were not disappointed. The menu features locally sourced and prepared dishes artfully presented. There was an excellent array of seasonal cocktails and drinks, I had a lovely grapefruit inspired cocktail I highly recommend but sadly do not recall the name. We both tried the cod cakes... More

Well we have been here before and there is always an issue with the service the wait staff are inexperienced. We can sit at the table for 10 mins before you get a menu then you get water in another 10 mins it will be 30 mins before you even order. Salads are fresh this time had a ask for... More

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in New Paltz celebrating our anniversary and our first stop when we arrived was to have lunch at the Village Tearoom. It was a beautiful spring day so we chose to eat outside on the large porch. The inside looked perfect for a cozy intimate dinner. We both thoroughly enjoyed... More
