We ordered the daily lunch special, it was good and fresh. The server never came back to check on us or offer us refills on our coffee. The atmosphere is nicer in the back with many windows. The front is more of a pub meets diner. The place is quaint and seems to be a locals destination. We would come... More

One of four or five Irish Pubs in the area I was always intrigued by the fact that it always seemed to have a lot of patrons (including bikers in the summer). So finally had an opportunity to check it out. The bartender and our server Jeannine were exceptionally attentive and friendly. In fact Jeanine was the type to eye-ball... More

this is one of my favorite places in the New Paltz area. I've been eating there for years, how ever last time I visited, my favorite pulled pork sandwich was removed from the menu by I guess new owner...from what I was told by friendly Grill staff it was replaced by tilapia sandwich...well it kind of ruined it for me,... This place consistently serves good food. Here were some orders from our group: burger, seafood salad, eggplant fries, Cobb salad, corned beef Reuben, etc. Everything is so fresh and well made. I will take this restaurant over McGillicuddys and Gilded Otter any day.

My husband and I have always liked this place for the casual, fun atmosphere (a bit noisy) and the pub food is really great! We've been going now on Monday nights because they have this crazy special of 2 for $20! 1 appetizer and 2 main entrees for $20.00! And you have a choice! For $27.00 the two of us... More

We come here twice a year exhibiting at the craft show in new paltz. Sometimes we end up someplace else if we can't get into P&G, and it's usually a mistake! Ok, so the food that tempts me here is not the healthiest. A lot of delicious fried food and burgers, but there are healthier items on the menu! Today... More

One of the best hamburger I have ever eaten. The pub has many options to eat, all of them are very good. Stay open until late.

This Pub-Restaurant is in the heart of downtown new paltz. Although this is in a college town, P & Gs is family-friendly until the sun goes down. The menu is mostly comfort food with some salads and vegetarian meals available. Drink and Menu specials each night. The food and atmosphere is friendly-casual.

Very good food, drinks, beer selection, and the prices are good. I've never had a bad meal there yet. They have a nice selection on the menu, and a friendly helpful staff also. A fun place to go with friends.
