One of the best hamburger I have ever eaten. The pub has many options to eat, all of them are very good. Stay open until late.

This Pub-Restaurant is in the heart of downtown new paltz. Although this is in a college town, P & Gs is family-friendly until the sun goes down. The menu is mostly comfort food with some salads and vegetarian meals available. Drink and Menu specials each night. The food and atmosphere is friendly-casual.

Very good food, drinks, beer selection, and the prices are good. I've never had a bad meal there yet. They have a nice selection on the menu, and a friendly helpful staff also. A fun place to go with friends.

My parents had their first date here. My sister and her husband had their first kiss here. Any visit to New Paltz calls for a visit to P&Gs, but as I get older, it's lunch I enjoy there most rather than the nightly bar scene. My biggest complaint continues to be that the "hard roll" the menu promises is actually... More

We stopped for lunch and, I guess, to see how the place had changed since the last time we were here 10 years ago. This was one of our go to places when we were in college here in the 70's. I would say it has held up pretty well. It expanded a bit in the back but the food... More

I went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a busy Friday night and this place was a madhouse. Definitely not the place to go if you are looking for good food and a peaceful ambiance. It is too busy, loud, and drunk. Yes, the whole place is basically drunk. I definitely don't plan on going back unless it... More

Great little restaurant. We were seated right away--we had gone on a Sat at 5 pm. Menu has some great stuff on it. The prices are VERY reasonable and the amount of food you get is just right. We tried the new item--Mack Truck Burger. It was a grilled cheese with a burger and mac and cheese on it!! AWESOME!!... More

I love the atmosphere of P&G's! It's a pub like atmosphere, very friendly, a bit noisy, but with the greatest food in town! I especially like the Seafood Broil. It consists of a nice slice of Salmon, a few shrimp and a few scallops. All of this is covered with a caper sauce that is to die for! It comes... More

Small and quaint location with much history. Bar in front with suitable seating arrangements throughout. Service was friendly, and menu offered many treats. I took chance on their burger and it was a winner. Tasty and served in a warm kaiser roll with choice of sides.
