Any place that has a line out the door is serving some pretty good food. We had to wait about a half hour on a late Saturday morning to be seated. The place was hustling. Our waiter was very nice and served use quickly. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was a skillet with cornbread on... More

Nice little cafe. Caters to more on the veggie & vegan side. Went two days in a row so pretty good. Staff very friendly. Check out the specials. Had 12 grain French toast with bananas walnuts & granola. yummy!

Place is small, wait is usual. My grandson is a student at SUNY New Paltz and this is his favorite. We go there when we visit. The food is excellent and the service is the best !!!!!!

Exactly what you would expect out of a place in a college town . Very good , moderately priced food prepared to order . Very accommodating staff does great job when this place is packed. And on weekends it's crowded. Should move em out a little quicker. Twice this week did not disappoint.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here before setting out on a 10 mile hike. It was filling and lasted us until the late afternoon. They have so many options to choose from on the menu. Some of them were new combinations I hadn't tried before. The waitress was friendly and prompt, our food was delicious and the decor was artsy... More

Delicious food , friendly service and college-family atmosphere ! What else can you ask for when you are looking for something that's good and reasonable. For many years when we go to the Crafts Fair, we never ate in New Paltz since the resturants did not appeal to our taste. This time we took a chance and we were very... More

The menu here has a very wide range. The food combinations and matching was wonderful. Good coffee as well. The speed of our service was quite good especially for how busy the place was. The staff was helpful and friendly in suggestions with the menu.i look foward to the chance to eat here again!

Inconsistency would sum most of this review up. We went two days I a row for breakfast, loved the Bistro Slam the first day, we ordered it again the second. First day: friendly waitress, order taken and food delivered in timely manner, fluffy pancakes. Second day: scruffy waiter took order of those who sat after us, took much longer for... More

This is my first bad review. I'm only writing because I wish others had written more honest reviews here. Perhaps the college atmosphere and low expectations are what get this place such great reviews. The french toast was possibly the worst I have ever eaten. The pancakes tasted of rancid cheap oil. The waitress was very nice but this was... More
