I do not normally make it my practice to wait for a table, especially for brunch, especially after lolling around all morning until my stomach notified me there was a hunger emergency. There was a line out the door, waiting a half an hour. I have been coming to this restaurant when I come to this town over 16 years,... More

Gets busy; popular lunch spot. Big menu. I had chicken quesadillas, my husband had a bowl of chilli with jalapeño corn bread. The corn bread was fantastic...light, spicy, not greasy...really tasty. Great waiter called Derek who told us the place is owned by the drummer from Murphy's Law. Some cool music posters on the walls. Good place for some pretty... More

My husband was running the annual 1/2 marathon in New Paltz so I decided to try this spot for breakfast. I got there around 7:45 am and got the last available table. I ordered a V8 (and was immediately offered lemon with it) and the salmon hash and eggs. The food was excellent, a huge portion with a good amount... More

This place always has great food, Large variety to choose from. Breakfast any time of day. You can get organic or not. Servers are always excellent. They have one the town's best breakfast specials. Whether you get a salad, sandwich, breakfast, all.....good homemade from scratch food.

Had a great breakfast here. Friendly people and good service with an classic small town diner type of feel, complete with great classic music. The menu has lots of great options including gluten free breads and cage free eggs. I had the super granola bowl and loved it.

Consistently good food at a good price. The only thing to complain about is how crowded it sometimes gets, but that's a testament to how good food is. Highly recommended!

With a cast of local characters not to be missed, this place puts out more custom meals than can be imagined! From meat eaters to vegans to Gluten free diners, no one is left out. Prices are more than reasonable (breakfast starts at 1.97!) And the food combinations available are only held back by your own imagination. (Lately, my go... More

This is a fun place to grab breakfast or brunch in New Paltz. Be prepared for a long wait and a very disorganized waiting process. Wait staff were friendly and food was delicious and came out quickly.

'The Bistro' as it is known to us locals, is the heart and soul of this unique and endearingly quirky college town, just 90 mins from NYC. This has been our favorite breakfast spot, in the world, for over 30 years, and it just happens to be in our own town! Many of the excellent staff that run the place... More
