OK, so you can have your Ritz Carlton brunch and incredible feasts around the Caribbean but there is no place with the atmosphere, good food, creative local dishes and wonderful owners like the Main St Bistro. These people are REAL, smiling and work hard to make the place a mainstay of the community. Their contributions to the community and its... More

Definitely the best home fries I've ever had. All the food on the menu is delicious, but most importantly The Breakfast Special. For only $2 you get home fries, eggs, and toast!

It's a joint that have options for everyone. Always packed, but food is consistently good and fast, servers are super friendly. Come early, otherwise be ready for a long wait.

This amazing eatery is a New Paltz classic. It is a favorite with all: college students, families, visitors, seniors, working folks, etc. Counter, tables and booths fill quickly, especially on weekends, when the line sometimes is out the door and onto the sidewalk. The menu is richly creative, including selections for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores. Specials are posted and are... More

A small but very eclectic, hipster type place that is a favorite among all the locals and SUNY college students. The food is great and done well. There are some unique sandwich combos and breakfast combos, that I have never before seen on a menu but love most of them. The price is right, the waitresses are young, attractive ladies... More

Super food a great sunday morning stop after church, or any time of day. Located right in the middle of town. A great stop after shopping.

We go to the Bistro often when we have out of town guests. There is almost always a wait, but they are efficient, and it is definitely worth it. Excellent healthy food, great choices. When we have weekend renters, we always recommend the Bistro, and everyone is pleased.

Great place for families and college students. Food is good and service was fast with attentive waitstaff. Nice cozy place. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

I heard about this place from my parents who had visited earlier in the year (they were looking for a brunch spot, and even though there were several on Main Street, only Main Street Bistro had a line of people sitting on the sidewalk waiting for a table). We came for breakfast around 7am on a Sunday, and there was... More

I stop here several times for breakfast. Food is always good portion are big. It gets crowed during the weekends with lines of people waiting outside, but is worth the wait
