Delicious

We were on our way back from NYC on Christmas night and all the diners we passed were closed, so we drove into town to see what was open. We've lived here for many years but never tried Anatolia. So glad we did! The food was fantastic. The service was acceptable (not the speediest, but not... read more

It was our third time for 1.5 year there but, most likely, the last time. This time, the restaurant, while having lamb meals in its menu, had no lamb in the stack and a substitute was offered. In addition, while we ordered a glass of chardonnay pinot grigio was served, instead. The waiter was very inexperienced - college student or... More

Anatolias is a small, intimate restaurant right in the heart of downtown new paltz NY. The atmosphere is simple, clean and calm. I saw some other reviews about slow service, but Ive never experienced that. My sister and I try to get there at least once per month for a delicious vegetarian lunch. They do serve meat, but they have... More

If you are in a hurry, Anatolia is not the place for you. It's a warm homey, immaculate place to dine, schmooze and leisurely enjoy your meal. Well worth it. I had the Anatolian Mixed Grill and GF had the Chicken and Lamb Kebabs. All fresh and homemade, right down to Baklava with pistachios. The service is laid back but... More

Went to the restaurant a while back and decided to return to try the lamb and spinach. Both unfortunately we're very greasy. The servers were slow to help, and the food arrived cold due to slow service.

Visited Anatolia last evening for dinner. The lamb soft taco didn't taste like lamb. The spinach pie was greasy, had no flavor and was so hard that a steak knife would have been helpful to saw it apart. The stuffed mushroom dish was absolutely tasteless and completely forgetable. Dead out of cabernet and couldn't get the dried cork out of... More

Came across this restaurant on our first visit to New Paltz and was delighted by the quality and freshness of the meals served. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend this spot.

Up a couple of steps on Main Street. Easy to pass by but worth stepping into. Very reasonable middle eastern foods and turkish specials. Good service even with crowded with students, tourists, professors and many cool upstate types. Vey enjoyable.

We opted for the wraps which seemed like better value than the full meals and we found them more than adequate and very appetising.

I have been coming to Anatolia for the past 13 years. They were in a different location just few doors down the road. I have never been disappointed there. The food is always excellent, the service sometimes is a bit slow due to the fact that they are almost always busy. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming. The food... More
