Lovely Lunch

This was a first time visit for lunch with a good friend. Our waitress was pleasant and very helpful. Our original first choice was not available... Nikki Nirvana with eggplant salad. We will have to try it next time! I enjoyed the falafel sandwich with a salad... it was delicious and... read more

Entering you are greeted immediately and told if three is a wait. The food is freshly made to order. It is worth the wait for the food to be prepared. We go there quite often when we are in New Paltz. In a great location.

We came in right before closing on a Sunday night. We were greeted with a smile and looked at the menu. I wasn't so excited about coming in but my friend really wanted to try it. I should thank him. I reluctantly ordered the falafel sandwich. It was huge and tasty. From the first to last bite it was abundantly... More

The Anatolia has fresh, prepared to order Turkish/Mediterranean foods. First we had the sampler appetizer plate. It had a variety of offerings that were out of this world! It could be a meal in itself. Then we had the okra stew and the spinach pie, again excellent tasting and very well presented. I see that others have said that the... More

By chance, we wandered into Anatolia two years ago and had a very pleasant lunch. Decided to try it again to our delight. We had an appetizer of hummus garnished beautifully with lemon slices and serve with dollops of excellent olive oil. The dish was accented with just the right accent of cumin. For an entree, we ordered the kofta... More

Eight family members ate dinner there. All thought the three appetizers were excellent. Six of the 8 thought their dinner was excellent, one thought it was good, and one only fair (not cooked enough). The menu is generally Turkish, with lots of Kebab entrees. However, there were also enough vegetarian entrees for our two vegetarians. The server was friendly, attentive,... More

I went here with boyfriend, and I don't know about him but my meal was great. I got the okra stew and I loved it, It was something different, but very good. Will agree with other reviewers that service is a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry so it was fine.

The food is delicious...I ordered the falafel platter, which is quite large. Be warned though... the service is at a snails pace, even though we were the only table for the first 15 mins. Had to flag the waitress down every time for any attention. Once we put our order in finally, the food came quickly.

My husband and I ate here for the second time, and again we really enjoyed it. I had the Adana Chicken Kebab, and I thought it was delicious. We were first served pita with oil and tepenade. The pita was hot and really delicious. We would've loved more, as the portion was small, but we were never offered a refill.... More

We dined here for the first time and last time today. To start off we were told after we were seated they were out of Lamb, lentil soup, and something else I have forgotten, you can't run a turkish restaurant without lamb. The falafel was mushy and smelled of pure curry, the color was curry and it tasted like curry.... More
