Everytime I go some person is smoking in parking lot and it pervades the whole restaurant. The staff is rude lazy and slow. The food is average. The other mitsuba restaurant in town is much better and no cigarette smoke.

Of course there's not much sushi in the area. But Mitsuba is cute, has good sushi, polite waiters, and very reasonable prices. The sushi bar entrees are a great value, the tom yum soup is amazing (better than most Korean restaurants), and the premium rolls are creative and reasonably priced. My favorite place to eat in the area. Poor beer... More

We used to enjoy coming here. The wait staff is friendly but unengaged. Food arrives too fast, or too slowly. The kitchen needs help organizing food delivery. We had chipped and cracked tea cups and dishes. The food is quite good, but given the prices the service needs improvement.

We were out for a Saturday night meal in the dining room. The salad, which was watery, was delivered to the table along with the soup almost right away. Then came the sushi appetizer, with the drinks after that. The hot dinner plates were delivered to the table before we had a chance to eat anything else. It was one... More

My family and I went here for my 50th birthday. I had never been here before but we all wanted to try it. We sat at hibachi. It's very loud in here so if you want a quieter setting, this is definitely not the place for you. The chef we had was decent, so no complaints there. Food was ok.... More

This was the perfect place for three families with their college sons to share a fun evening. We all laughed, enjoyed the theatrics and were satisfied with the food and drink.

We have figured out the Friday rush ends at 7, so we arrived at 6:50 and had a 5 minute wait for a table. When we left at eat there was plenty of seating. The Tum-yum soup was excellent, although my favorite is still the seafood miso soup. I had the tuna martini which came in an interesting glass and... More

We decided to eat at Mitsuba over Sumo based on the reviews and comments about the restaurant. We decided to eat sushi and sat in the back of the restaurant at the sushi bar. The wait staff was attentive but distracted. Our meal arrived at different times, which was very frustrating. For example. Miso soup should have arrived first, instead... More

The food is good, but even better is the fun. Everyone sits around the grill and the waiters entertain you while making your food. It's a fun place for older kids and a great place to take visitors. I've taken visitors from all over the world and they have all laughed their way through the meal. Great place for a... More

I've only actually eaten here once. It is always crowded, they do a poor job of honoring reservations ( meaning you still wait 30 - 45 minutes for your table). The food is fine, if you like the hibatchi style with all the antics, they have that. Not my cup of tea...
