After hearing rave reviews about this place which is less than 2 1/2 miles from our home, we decided to celebrate our anniversary with lunch at Gerard's. It was not to disappoint! From the soup (a spinach egg drop soup with cheese - sorry, can't remember the official name), to my husband's grilled chicken sandwhich with their homecut fries, my... More

Hands down the best Pasta Bolognese in the area! Worth the trip from anywhere in the lower Catskill region to experience this perfectly cooked meal. Can't speak for the rest because the Bolognese gets me every time!

We were driving and stopped there to eat. We enjoyed the different choices and daily specials they had to offer. We had appetizers and a salad. The duck was out of this world! The food is cooked to order. Everything was fresh and exquisite!! Nancy was our server and was extremely polite and informative. She didm;t steer us wrong. We... More

We took a chance on Gerard's while out looking for Eagles on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I enjoyed choices from the daily specials menu and they were excellent. She had grouper baked in parchment and I had fresh trout. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch seated near the windows overlooking the street below. Great food, pleasant surroundings and we... More

Gerard's was a fabulous choice to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We enjoyed the filet along with unique appetizers and a nice selection of beer/wine. Was not impressed with the carrot cake we had for dessert. The atmosphere is cozy. The service was great and it was a nice touch when the chef Gerard came around to check on us.... More

Visited this restaurant based on reviews from Trip Adviser. It was a Sunday drive destination. Went for lunch and it wasn't crowded. Sat on the deck. The sevice was good but the food was truly outstanding. It was such a delicious brunch. Everything was so fresh and the portions were perfect. Ordered the stuffed zucchinni flowers as an appetizer and... More

My wife and I were on a 4 day vacation in the area (we stayed at the wonderful Roebling Inn on the Delaware) and 2 of our 4 dinners were spent at Gerard's River Grill where the food was so good we honestly didn't care what the cost was. You don't have to break the bank to eat there. But... More

The food is still wonderful at Gerard's, but I was disappointed with the portions. My chicken dish was a small portion of chicken with a large portion of pasta. The mussel appetizer was about 3/4 the size it used to be and 25% increase in price. I know we won't be going back as often as we used to.

Gerard and his staff provide great food, but more than that they make you feel truly welcome. You can sit outside on the patio overlooking the Delaware River and lovely Main Street or inside the comfortable dining room or at the bar listening to live music on the weekends. We eat there often and enjoy the stuffed artichoke, the steak... More

Gerard's steak zingara is the best!! Melts in your mouth. I recently had the chicken francese and it was light and fresh! If you want a delicious meal, go see Gerard & Joanne at Gerard's River Grill in Narrowsburg, NY.
