Nice brunch here.

We had a nice bunch here. We had the Salmon egg scramble with breakfast potatoes. The eggs were very good. The potatoes were warm, not hot. We also had the Sauteed jumbo shrimp with breakfast potatoes. This also was good. Brunch is not the best time to judge a restaurant, so their dinner... read more

We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were married in a blizzard in 1965! January 2015 was equally cold with snow on the ground. Narrowsburg cwas decorated with pretty little white lights and looked like a picture in a travel magazine. Gerard's sits high overlooking the Delaware River. We had an early dinner reservation,... No need to mess with the bones. Flavor was perfect. My only criticism is the presentation. It lacked imagination. But the food was excellent, as well as the service.

Wonderful experience! The four cheese eggplant appy can't be beat nor can the Birkshire Bearded Pork Chop! Pleasant atmosphere, very good service, a chat with Gerard, the owner chef, a well chosen bottle of wine and a Birthday dessert made for an all around enjoyable evening!

Once a sleepy village on the banks of the Delaware river, it has become a destination for boutique shopping, river paddling and yet another dining emporium. Overlooking the bridge to PA, its a clean and roomy restaurant and outdoor deck. The service was top shelf, the Northern Italian cuisine a delight although a bit pricy. The owner/chef visited our table... More

we'd been wanting to go here for a while, so we finally did. the service was incredibly slow. it took almost an hour to get our appetizers and another big chunk of time until we got our main courses. the appetizer of soupa of clams was okay, oversized clams with whole tomatoes, not very tasty and not what I was... Not only was the food fantastic, the service great, but the chef came out to ask us how we liked our dinner! We could not say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was and how much we enjoyed everything including the view of the river!

I have eaten here many times. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the portions are very good, it is as as good as any place you would find in the city, but it is in the beautiful country-bald eagles abound in the area. The wine, the appetizers (we had the mussels with white wine and garlic, ask for... More

We,ve been going to Gerards Restaurant since its opening.Food has been consistently good (whether Italian or American). Mussels are my favorite appetizer in a spicy red sauce. Their terra mist is( assorted vegetable antipasto) enough for two to share..As entrees, fish is always done very well.Meats and other entrees are also well prepared. Coming from NYC. I think you get... More
