Good food and healthy

We have gone to this restaurant several times. It takes a little to get used to by eating with your hand. However, the veggies are very good (beats, lentil beans, chick peas) and we like the beef tips. We went there for lunch yesterday and it was quiet. Dinner on weekends is usually busy.

Went with the whole family for father's Day. best Ethiopian food we've ever had. Nice little restaurant, friendly staff, and great tasting food. had mostly vegetarian, but also got the chicken and lamb which were quite good.

We have been going here since it opened and still try to go as often as we can even though we now have two little ones! The food here has gotten better and better - and it started off really good! We always get the avocado appetizer, the vegetarian combo, and the siga wat. I went there recently for my... More

Ate here for lunch (the falafel sandwich was crunchy and delightful at a great price) and then for dinner - many dishes for vegetarians, vegans. The traditional dishes were wonderful, as was the avocado salad. Lovely, well selected wine list. Decor was unassuming and cheerful. Family friendly, but not so much that a single diner couldn't enjoy his/herself in relative... More

Interested in trying something a bit different with wonderful owners and staff ? This is the place! A unique dinning experience with fingers and friends and if you are a vegetarian you will eat the most delicious dessert (vegan) you will ever have! Lasting impression. The only down side is the chatter level..the acoustics make for strained conversation but a... More

I love Ethiopian food. Nothing tastes like it, there's that unique fragrance that clings to you fingers, portions small but filling. Kids love eating with their hands and will try many new things that way. Do ask for more injera. They are happy to oblige. We end the meals with the unexpected baklava, served cold but rich, sweet and sticky.

I'm spoiled by having had many choices for Ethiopian food in Manhattan, while there's really only one out here in the 'burbs. Luckily, it's Lalibela, where the food is delicious and the service is friendly. I go out of my way to make it here for dinner and sometimes get takeout, and I'm never disappointed. Perhaps my only complaint is... More

Never experiencing Ethiopian cuisine we really wanted to enjoy this quaint little restaurant in Mount Kisco. Seated at a table for 4 we shared two appetizers We found the Sambusa Beef to be dry and a bit bland while the Avocado Salad uneventful. Something that can be made at home. We also shared the mains deciding on the "Taste of... More

I went to Lalibela Ethiopian Cuisine with my family and we tried several dishes, all were very good. I would recommend this restaurant as a nice experience of Ethiopian food, and will go again if i feel like eating something different.

My first experience with Ethiopian cuisine, very positive. The food is good, but can be spicy (some like it). Friendly and attentive service.
