Though this is a very busy place, we walked in off the street, got a table, and had a great, casual meal. The servers were pleasant and there was actually live music that started in the middle of our meal, which was great and unobtrusive. Went back again 2 nights later.

She has a valid license , but it still says "under 21" because her license was up for renewal shortly before she turned 21. The bartender refused to serve her because of this. All she had to do was look at the date of birth. My daughter has never had a problem when asked for and using the same license.... More

The female waitstaff are dressed like they are at Hooters. The place is loud and overly trendy. The food and drinks are good but it makes me sad to see such a yuppie, snooty place in what used to be a family-friendly location. Also, there seemed to be (I will not say there were because I do not want to... More

It is on the main avenue, the flavor is very cajun style, it reminded me of New Orleans, cool flavors. The spicy tuna tartar taquitos were juicy, and the shrimp skewer amusing. We drank a Pinot Noir, the venue is entertaining. For lunch we found a little table, on saturday night was jammed. We were next to this posh hampton... More

We had the best lunch ever. The food was excellent, the owner/server was amazing. He was in every detail, even put on some argentinian music for us. His mum came up and recomended some of her homemade desserts and improvise a cake as it was my mother´s b-day. The entire experience from beging to end was wonderful. Do not miss... More

Decided to have lunch at Gig with my sons after a morning of surfing some great waves in Montauk. Seriously adorable hostess sat us quickly and set the tone for a casual low key lunch. Fish tacos were great and my sons devoured the burgers. Wednesday is "Champagne Wednesday" and they also offer live music often.

We went here because it was close to our hotel, and what a great place! Food was amazing, great fish tacos and a drink I had there (The BillMurray) is now my go to when I go out at home! Very trendy loved the house music. Will return next time we visit Montauk

My husband and I were looking for low key music venue, either affordable or free, this was free. We have been here before but never thought to review. They have local entertainment, individual singers. Manny was singing, Regaee songs, along with other genre with a Regaee sound. We were disappointed there were no clams or oysters, as we wanted just... More

Just arrived from the uk via JFK so tired family and staying at ocean surf resort so walked into montauk centre and happened upon the giggshak. Outdoor table, some people watching, friendly staff and good burgers - we felt like we were truly in the US. Price was reasonable and wine pretty good. We would go back as burgers were... More
