Byob for dinner but get there early because this place has the view. Sunset and lobster rolls! All for $50 for two...cannot beat it, despite spartan, rustic seating and no service.

On our first, and last, trip to the Hamptons we stopped in here based purely on the reviews on Tripadvisor. Simply put: don't bother. Don't know what people are raving about. I'm fine with the basic styling: plastic cutlery and plates. The view is of the ocean but I've seem better. It's cash only and byo wine or beer. But... More

We placed our order over the phone for pick-up as one of our party was unable to eat out that evening. The Clam Chowder was the best I have ever tasted ... light broth not heavy and chock full of clams! The Lobster Roll was meaty and delicious - but ate with a fork as the bun was burnt on... More

This was a find by total luck. We knew we all wanted a great lobster roll but did not know where to go. I asked a local fireman I spotted in town (Montauk) and he suggested this spot. He said it had been around since the 1800’s and had the “Best Roll Sandwich in Montauk”. I agree, it was amazing.... More

Fresh seafood for little money. We didn´t know where we were going to and were surprised. A wonderful location to see the sunset, right next to the sea. Really good food - a lot of lobster for your money :-) Casual place, BYOB for those who want. Delicious food and a lot of lobster in the salad. Definitively coming back... More

Rare find. Good overall experience. Superb location to watch the sun set over the sea. Bring your own wine - they don't serve alcohol. Cash only. No table service. Good lobster - balance of menu variable. Changed ownership May 2014 - so go soon...

What do you do on a bitterly cold and late November day and want a lobster roll in Montauk? Well, don't bother with Lobster Roll, Clam Bar, Inlet Seafood - all great places in their own right I'm sure, but closed for the season. It was 4th time lucky (and very lucky at that) we stumbled on this place -... More

This was my first time at Duryea's and found the place to be casual, a great place to dine outdoors. However, there are a few seats inside (Tall stools) if you want to sit inside. They Do Not serve wine or beer, it is a BYOB type of place. The lobster roll was meaty with lots of lobster served on... More

Duryea's is a little piece of heaven. It's BYOB, so we went with a bottle of white wine, ordered a lobster each and had an absolutely lovely meal by the ocean. Especially nice at sunset. It is such a simple set-up and an absolutely winning combination.

What a dump with great views of the water and excellent food, especially the lobster rolls. This is not a place you go to for ambiance. Sit outside, pick up our own meal, BYOB, order and pay in cash. But the food is wonderful and a great view of the water on the north side of Montauk. If you speak... More
