I love this place because it's like one of the old time diners you see in the movies. The waitresses are very friendly and keep refilling your cup with coffee, which is really good coffee btw. The cinnamon toast is amazing too. It's located right in town, so it's nice to go for a stroll after a good breakfast.

The absolute worst service. The woman who owns it is such a nasty, bitter woman. The food is better than her attitude at least...not by much

Very crowded with a somewhat confused wait staff. I asked for crispy bacon and French toast. I got crispy French toast and almost raw bacon. The coffee was watery. I was very disappointed and, needless to say, did not go back.

We went to Anthony's when the wait for Mr. John's was too long. Seems like a lot of people do that! Anyway, I had the steak and eggs. I realize that breakfast steak is not really supposed to be good, and this was exactly what I expected - stringy/chewy. But otherwise everyone enjoyed their meals. Canadian bacon was perfectly prepared.... More

We didn't get a chance to try John's Pancake house across the street, but ate here twice. LOVE the cinnamon French toast, and the waitress was very accommodating. Great breakfasts here.

Breakfast was fantastic ordered what i needed to make my own breakfast sandwich and it lived up to my expectations. My boyfriend had the broccoli and mozzarella omelet and loved it. It is a very laid back place to eat. Would definitely come back when i'm back in Mountauk
