We researched the restaurants in Montauk. it was end of season and a couple of the "A" listers had already closed for the winter which was a shame because everywhere was very busy and the weather great. Went to the Fishbar for Saturday dinner and had the excellent seafood platter for 2 at $98.00 lots of grilled clams, shrimp and... More

My husband and I decided to give Fishbar a try after viewing the video that is posted on their website. The video talks about the fresh tile fish straight off the Tuma charter boats, the upscale fine food and the "hands on" personality of the chef/owner. We were pretty excited to try it since we're always game for a fine... More

Enjoyed a delightful meal. We had the risotto and the scallops. Both were outstanding. The accompaniments with the scallops were delish. The staff was quick and responsive and the place was busy. I highly recommend this place.

My teenagers and I went for lobster and seafood. The atmosphere & decor were decent ( I think daytime overlooking the marina would've been better). The pricing was fair- the food was creative (jalapeño fritters & Thai style mussels) and pretty good. A definite 👍from a picky reviewer! Zagat & I recommend!

This place had very good seafood. We had the Fish Tacos and Monkfish Dishes and were pleased with both, the sunset views over the lake were awesome. The price was "normal" for Montauk.

Came to the fishbar for my boyfriends birthday. Had a 6:00 reservation for Sunday 9/14/14 and had the outdoor dining room to ourselves for the first half-hour. Crowd started trickling in closer to 7:00. As a waitress myself, I was disappointed with the service at this restaurant. There were only 4 tables including ours dining at that time, and the... More

After repeatedly trying, with no luck, to get into two of the Montauk "hotspots" we got a reservation at Fishbar. We weren't expecting anything too spectacular based on the reviews we had read. Wow, were we all pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, inventively prepared, delivered in a timely manner by a very efficient waitress. Both the adults and children... More

Great experience:Harbour side location, half inside and half out, casual feel, good bar and cocktails, and all with excellent fresh original food.

Fishbar is off of East Lake Drive in Montauk - away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. And away from the dresses and platform shoe's - in Montauk - give me a break!!!! You can actually have a conversation while eating dinner. The food is very good with different choices such as Monk fish, Tile fish and a very... More

More than a month after our last awful visit of the season and I am still just too angry to let this one go. Fishbar started out as the place we would take all of our visitors to--the food is so good! But we went a couple of times this season and each night ended up being a disaster--orders forgotten,...
