Great location (view of harbor is perfect), drinks excellent, service friendly and ideal for beach community, and food truly surprisingly great. First time we visited and were totally delighted by quality of fish and steaks. Had appetizers which were different and good! For a real nice summer beach dinner could not recommend better. Priced perfectly.

We were a large party 7. It was a Thursday night, not quite full season and the restaurant didn't appear to be fully staffed, dealing with a bigger crowd than I think they expected that night. That was, at any rate, the only reasonable explanation we could come up with for the slow, haphazard service we received from what has... More

Searched like crazy to find a restaurant that could take a reservation for 5 a few hours before we wanted to arrive on a Saturday. Called Fishbar and got a recording that said to leave a message if you want a reservation and someone would call back. I left a message and didn't expect a call back, but got one,... More

Stopped in for a bite while bicycling. Sat outside overlooking Montauk Lake. Ordered the Thai mussels and the grilled scallops with quinoa - both of which far exceeded expectations. Love this place. Bonus for pilots - fly in and it's a short walk from the airport!!!

We ate here one night based on other reviews, it didn't disappoint. The salads, apps and entrees were all good.

We decided to go to Fishbar based on one of our friends recommendation and also the reviews we read with the celbrity chef. The location was cool since it was right in the marina. Nothing fancy but still nice. What was odd was there was only one person working the entire resteraunt. She was the hostess/bartender/waitress/server/busboy and we felt bad... More

The day before I visited this restaurant I had lunch at "The Nomad" in Manhattan. The reason I mention this is because the invoices for starter and main course plus wine were nearly identical. Now compare the world class service and the world class food in "The Nomad" with the rustic layout of the "fishbar", the at most average food,... More

Since it was after Labor Day we did not have reservations and were seated quickly. Pretty view of marina. Small and cute set-up to view the distant sunset, quite lovely! Only one waitress and she was harried and forgetful and to make her job harder the computer system was down. We needed to remind her of our app order of... More

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. We were disapointed. The waiter was crabby and after he gave us our food never came back and asked if we needed anything. I could see if they were busy but they weren't. We ordered the lobster dinner for two and found the lobster to be undercooked and also the corn. Everything... More

We ate at the bar rather than wait for a table, which turned out to be delightful. The food was fresh and flavorful. The place was packed and lively. We will go back next time.
