Great food and service, I've been there a couple of times and the food is very consistent every time I go. I've had sushi, Caesar Salad, muscles and the shrimp & scallops penne always fresh food, definitely will recommend to anyone.

This restaurant is in a great location and the views brilliant. I like the fact that it is run by local fishermen, and I thought the meals we got were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Couldn't have chosen a better place for sushi in Montauk! The delicious food, outstanding service and scenic views made this the perfect place to celebrate my nephew's 13th birthday.

Yes, you can get good sushi in Montauk. And they have a big selection of the normal fish-joint food on the menu too. Great selection to tap beers. Great views outside of the water and sunsets. It's true that the place was started by three local fishermen tired of seeing such a huge markup on the stuff they caught.

Our first visit to the Inlet was very pleasant, although I'm not sure I'd have chosen a "very good" rating if TA's system didn't lock me into the choice between average and very good (there is a very wide range between those two points). The view and location are outstanding and in contrast to others' comments, we did have very... More

Went on a recommendation from friends. For a "seafood" restaurant overlooking the harbor and bay there wasn't much seafood on the menu. They had steak, duck, chicken, pasta, and a few fish ir seafood dishes. I was surprised cause the menu was touting fresh caught seafood. I guess the duck was caught in their parking lot. We arrived at about... More

Dear Ricky35345, Thank you for taking the time to review Inlet Seafood. I'm very glad that your meal, the tuna steak served over brown rice with bok choy, was "exactly the way I (you) asked for it," and your partner's shrimp and penne dish was good and "tasty." We want to make sure that every diner's meal at Inlet is... More

Inlet has spectacular views, food, and service. It is one of the best places I have ever viewed a sunset form and to sit at the bar before dinner with Juanita is a treat in its self. We had a shrimp appetizer and I had scallops for a main course which were absolutely delicious our server Daniel could not have... More

Bar seats much more cozy than the cafeteria style dining area. Fabulous fresh seafood with stellar sunset views over water. Always a solid choice in montauk

Open spaced and busy dining areas lead to a casual feel, but the main impression is well prepared local seafood. The Inlet does not take reservations but no one seems to mind the wait. It's probably one of the most popular restaurants in the area, and with good reason!

Hi Travelr101, Thanks for taking the time to review Inlet Seafood! You're correct in that we don't take reservations, but coming closer to the beginning of the dinner service (5:30 p.m.or earlier) tends to decrease the wait in the summertime. We're glad you enjoyed your meal and hope you have a chance to visit us again this season or next.... More

We knew there would be a wait for a table, so found some space in the bar area. A waitress yelled at us saying we couldn't be there. My friend asked her if we could at least see a drink menu and she said, "Talk to the bartender". Ok, wrong foot right away. I ordered linguine with clams and it... More

Dear FlyStayEat, Thank you for taking the time to review Inlet Seafood. We're sorry to hear that your meal was not enjoyable for you, as we hope that every diner has a good experience. My guess is the area of the bar that you waited for a table at was in the bar service area, and as such it is... More
