From the eclectic decor to the reasonable prices, not to mention the amazing food this is the best place for mussels on Montauk. I believe a big bowl was around 12 dollars, plenty for two adults. We will be back!

We had lunch here and had the best lobster BLT ever - $20 par for the course price in Montauk but huge chunks of lobster including claw meat with fresh tomato and crisp bacon - yum!

Yes, they don't make 'em like this any more! Had to wait for a table on a crazy busy summer Friday night but it was all good. No fancy wait list or beepers in this place! The owner keeps track of everyone waiting for a table in his head! After one of the best clam chowders ever, we dug into... More

friendly, reasonably priced, tasty specials, dark and semi-divey with lots of a stuffed birds as decorations. The coaster says it all "no dirt bags, no cell phones, no crying children." Nice choice on the harbor.

We heard nothing but praise about the dock and decided to give it a try. Walked in and was ignored by several staff employees. After several minutes we were advised to see the hostess and gave her our name. We were told there was at least a half hour wait. We proceeded to the bar and when we said hello... More

Met a friend here with my Dad for lunch. Passed bye this place many times and never gave it a second thought. But I am now happy to have been invited to go there. We all had one of the daily specials and all of our meals were terrific. Service was great as we went during a slower time of... More

Driving past the 200 plus cars parked alongside Surf Lodge and feeling glad to be decades north of my Twenties, it was a quiet pleasure to swing into the parking lot of The Dock. It was shortly after 7pm on a Sunday and we easily scored a corner table for two. The atmosphere was wonderfully gloomy, nautical, and unpretentious. Real... More

We wanted just a lunch place and this was it. The burgers are really good. It's a saloon/bar type of place, but it was good. It's not really kid friendly so if you have children, I would look elsewhere.
