This is a large restaurant. At dinner on the weekends in the summer months there is usually a long wait. If you get a table by the water you will enjoy the view. The seafood is usually good, but not inexpensive. We waited for our food for a while, not surprising for the amount of people. Another way is to... More

When the other restaurants in the area were closed @ 4 in the afternoon, (which I don't understand since it is a seasonal tourist town destination??), we tried this place & were pleasantly surprised by the good sushi and courteous wait staff service. Will definitely return!

Enjoyable lunch with fresh local fare all whilst watching the fishing boats pulling in and out of the inlet. You can sit right outside and take in Montauk. Would definitely go back.

I was browsing Montauk resturants as I return every October for an extended weekend. When I saw Gosman's reviews I was reminded of the terrible experience we had last year. We were a party of 6 for dinner. We had read the menu of specials outside the resturant and deicided to give them a try. To our dismay we waited... More

Title says it all. I sat on the upstairs deck. What a great view of the water and yachts passing by. i ordered a few seafood dishes, all were good, though the lobster roll did not have much lobster in it. It is expensive, but considering the location it is understandable..

Been going to Montauk for 30 years, enjoyed many a meal in the local restaurants, but Gosmans Inlet Cafe definitely disappointed me, the view watching the boats come in and out of the harbor is beautiful, feels like your on a cruise ship, but the food was very over priced and terrible. I ordered baked clams for $10.00 2 clams... More

We're disappointed that you did not enjoy your meal with us! While we have been very pleased with the amount of positive feedback we're getting this season, we obviously did not meet your expectations. I'm sorry we didn't do better for you - if you are in Montauk again, please stop in and see us. Ask for Chris or Mike,... More

We wanted a light dinner so came here for a bite to eat. We sat at the bar overlooking the harbour watching the sunset - this is a great spot. The sushi was very good and the portion sizes were good, not too big. The waitress however was quite rude and unhelpful - we asked how big the portions were... More

Took relatives to the topside inlet restaurant as first timers to Montauk. This was my third time there during the past few years. Sat for dinner and had two cobb salads, one seafood fra diablo, and one swordfish dinner. All I can say is the food was really only fair, service was decent and provided by a young waitress, and... Nice place and nice staff, sitting on the deck is relaxing and just gorgeous.......I made the mistake of ordering a cheeseburger (no idea why being in the middle of fishermen's docks) and it was just ok. My mother ordered shrimp scampi which was not a traditional scampi that I know, and it was TO DIE FOR!
