Had to wait over an hour for our party of 5, but didn't mind at all, because of the rooftop bar. Music, great view, games to play, and refreshment. When we dined, the food was ample and delicious. Will be returning.

We went with our friends and had to sit at the bar and wait to be seated, they don't take reservations. We waited for over an hour. While we were seated at the bar (the bartender was very accommodating) we had clam chowder which was very tasty. When we were finally seated, the waiter gave us 4 glasses and a... More

It says something about Montauk that at the end of our trip we spent 3 days in NYC and found the restaurants cheaper. True they only have a few months to make their living but it's not a place for those on a tight budget. We also found in our week long stay in the area that whilst most eateries... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and it was the best dinner.the four of us went for dinner on a Wednesday night no reservations needed. We had the most delicious sushi and the arugula salad was pretty awesome. Nice casual atmosphere.Good service.

This place relocated to Salivar's Dock from West Lake Marina. I go here for the freshest sea food and their excellent soft shell crab sandwich. Oyster's and clams are excellent as well. I like the bar area for the ambiance and you can watch 2 big screen TV's. Also a nice selection of Tap Beer, which I prefer. Check it... More

A few years ago, I met some locals to get the inside scoop on the best places to eat in Montauk. Don't eat here, go away, I don't want to wait for all you tourists. It's terrible, don't eat here, go to MacDonald's in the city, and stay there while you're at it.

We decided to take a walk from our hotel and stop by. There was live music playing upstairs and the inside of the renovated Salivars was a welcome surprise! We had a delicious dinner and even returned the next morning for breakfast. This is a must when in Montauk!

We went for breakfast..another Montauk establishment that seems not fond of weekenders..it was Sunday..they serve breakfast till 10:00 am only and they mean it..The server we had ..was oozing attitude..we placed our orders after waiting for quite a while..we were not alone..everyone there sat..waiting..I requested that my eggs not be runny and my friends that the burger be well done..we... We decided to have lunch before getting on the ferry. Glad we did! Bloody Mary was special, nice cocktail taste to the tomato juice and presented well. Clam chowder was tasty with right amount of ingredients. I had the New England and it was good. My hubby opted for swordfish. This was an excellent choice and more than enough to... More
