Disappointed :(

I would've gave 5 stars rating but my last experience there was horrible. The wait was ridiculous, the service after being seated was slow and not accomadatting. I have been there a couple of times at least once a year and the service was perfect. But my last experience was not the best. I... read more

We went for dinner on a Monday night and it happened to be the last night of the season. The staff and owners we extremely friendly and the food was excellent. I had the lobster roll and yes its pricy but so worth it. Glad we made it before they closed!

Good lobster roll and pulled pork. The grandkids love wandering around looking at the boats, climbing the lifeguard tower, and roasting s'mores at the firepits provided for that purpose. Most of the very pleasant and friendly wait staff during the summer seem to be students from Europe who work here for a few months and then travel throughout the States... More

We have been coming to Rick's Crabby Cowboy Café for at least 15 years. You just cannot beat the location or the atmosphere. We have never had a bad meal here. That being said, we were astonished at a recent bar bill, as we were charged $19 for a Dewar's on the rocks. When we questioned the waitress, she giggled... More

Thanks for your information. Of course $19 for a Dewars would be incorrect. I understand your feelings. In fact, a Dewars is $12, and we add $7 in the computer if a "double" is ordered. Somehow your order was sent in as a double. I apologize if that was a misunderstanding. ÌI hope that you will come back again and... More

Very over priced menu. Food was ok for some and not so good for others in our group of 7. There are fire pits for roasting smores that you purchase for a price,

I've been to the Crabby Cowboy with my family the last three years. We have always had a good experience in the past, but this year, it was not pleasurable. The food was fried to death. I had fried shrimp for twenty something dollars that was like shoe leather. The mussels were also rubbery. Not everything was terrible, the corn... More

We were spending time with extended family in Montauk. They had been here last year and loved it. We had a reservation for 5:30 (they told us they do not take reservations after that time). We were seated immediately outside under a tent with a nice view of the water. Planes from Montauk airport took off directly over our heads.... More

We have been to this place every time we come to Montauk. You really can't get any better for children. It is in a big open area on the water and all the kids run around while the adults can sit back and get some drinks. I find the food good. It tends to run on the fried side, but... More

This was my second time there. I come to Montauk once a year by boat. We dingyed over from the Yacht club. No problem tying up. Service was great! Food great! I tried the world famous oysters - while pricy, I thought they were good. I had a soft shell crab sandwich - excellent. The world famous onion rings excellent.... More

We are here in Montauk for a week long vacation and decided to give this place a shot since it was close by. I hate to write such a negative review because the staff was really nice. But nice does not cover over the mistakes that were made during our meal (mostly minor drink and bill errors) and comes nowhere... More

First, I was glad to hear that you enjoyed the staff and that they contributed in a positive way to your experience. We hire students from all over the world and they enjoy interacting with our customers. I am sorry to hear that you and your party did not enjoy your meal. Please rest assured that our fried fish is... More
