Have eaten here many times over the years and have always loved it until last summer when we had a really bad experience, from the service to the food. With some trepidation we returned this year and were really happy with the evening. On a beautiful Monday night we decided to sit outside. Service and food were both excellent. Ravioli... More

Could not get a last minute reservation, but tried as a walk in, just 2 of us and luckily got 2 seats at the bar. The menu looked amazing, but pricey - then found out it was all family style. Everything we had was delicious, but it limited us to one entree and one appetizer, would have liked to have... More

The salads looked like it was just a bunch of leaves thrown together with no dressing. Pizzas were bland and fish was bad. Overpriced for such horrible food. Don't let the pretty scenery fool you.

I've been coming here for years just because I love the fact it is on the lake and the food WAS pretty good. However, the past few times I've been there, the food hasn't been up to par, nor has been the service. But after my recent attempt last weekend to bring my husband for his first time, we were... I frequent this restaurant out in Montauk. I believe that most of the restaurants on the East End are over-hyped and overpriced, but I haven't been disappointed in this restaurant yet. The calamari salad is a MUST, and so are their pasta dishes. Frequent seasonal specials are really great thing, and there is a certain charm with family style eating... More

We arrived just before opening at 5pm and waited on the short line to sit outside at a table for 9. The service was friendly--we were relieved to hear of the enormous portions when we saw the pricing. Four main dishes and 2 salads were enough for our table. The salmon was a favorite.

The food was acceptable, but combined with the inattentive service and high prices I can only rate it average. I'm a frequent visitor to Montauk but I won't be going back to the Harvest for some time.

Great service, not rushed, top chef food! Try the oysters and the swordfish piccatta, you will be happy that you did.

Some people judge the restaurant by the size of it's portions. If you are that type - you are in luck. The portions are not really just "family style" - they are for "LARGE family"/ Buckets of pasta with some greasy sauces, 2-3 pounds of fish per dish, huge chunks of meat on the plate, which is used to serve...
