The lady who served us was so lovely, let us stay and work on our mini writing project for over 3 hours! This place has the best ice cream I've ever tasted and the burgers were delicious. Wish I could stay to have it all again!

Great food and Ice Cream, and reasonable prices. Nowadays, there are lots of high end spots in Montauk and this is a welcome reminder of the quaint charm that is the real Montauk.

Ice Cream is Spectacular, many flavors, hard and soft. Great Location. Didn't eat food, but looked mostly of the quick, fried variety.

Nice place with some delicious home made ice creams and milkshakes. Not everything in the menu was available but what we had was good.

Got to go to John's! I love this place! The homemade ice cream is really good and cheaper than Ben and Jerry's (by Gossman's.) If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, John's is your place too. Only place 2 people can eat dinner for under $15 in Montauk!

The line may be out the door but the ice cream is definitely worth the wait. The staff is comprised of hustlers who keep the line moving. They also serve burgers and chicken fingers those families that have picky eaters.

never been there before in all the years i have been to montauk but i will definitely go back. ice cream is delish and their menu is great with very reasonable prices which is a rarity in montauk. try the fried flounder...yummy
