Very creative and it succeeds

This is such a laid back place and yet the consistent crowds give a nice vitality. Happy yellows and blues set the scene with a beach town vibe. The chef, who is celebrating their 5th year in business here, has a real passion for locally sourced produce and a sensitive way with some unusual herbs... read more

Not very accommodating asked to have a Tuna dish done more than rare I was told the chef does not ,make it that way. I am the customer the chef should please me not me please him. Drinks were tiny for a big price and the portions were tiny but good, and very expensive.

Dined at South Edison this past Friday. The food was absolutely delicious. It's a bit pricey but you will not regret it. The service was also very good.

This was the best dinner we had in Montauk during our stay. The menu has variety and creative- portions are perfect. They are kid friendly too. The place has a great vibe and service was excellent! We had such a good experience we went there again when we came back for a long weekend. Would definitely go back.

A wonderful spot to eat dinner. The food and service was great. Little Neck Clams were fresh and sweet. The Lobster Buns should not be missed. Had striped bass which was excellent.

We visited South Edison after my dear friend told me it was her favorite place in Montauk. Food was delicious and they use fresh ingredients, which is very important to me. The ambiance was perfect for our small group; not quiet but definitely not too loud. The cocktails were dangerous because it was hard not to order more of their... More

Short interesting menu. Soft-shell crabs, fluke worked well. Interesting desserts - 5th anniversary sundae worked well for me! Interesting wines with a strong Spanish influence. Went there for two of our five nights in Montauk. Had to sit outside both nights as inside was full, but it's a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by.

We stopped in here after a day at the beach and decided to stay and eat an early dinner instead of trying to make a reservation for later. We were in bathing suits and coverups and ate outside. We split a few starters and a main pasta dish, all were very tasty. The harvest salad, octopus tacos, shishito peppers, and... More

Like the surroundings and decoration. Great raw bar selections, good drinks and a limited kids menu. Fresh ingredients. A good choice in Montauk.

The restaurant is beautiful and well located. The service is friendly but very professional. Four of us split two appetizers, Edison Baked Clams and Fried Olives. The Clams were freshly prepared and delicious. The fried olives came with goat cheese and everyone loved them. Two people split the Edison clam Bake and raved about it. One had the Heirloom tomato...
