Established in 1985, Naturally Good Foods and Cafe is Montauk's primary health food store. We offer organic produce and groceries, cosmetics, vitamins and herbs, as well as a full service breakfast and lunch menu. We cater to early risers and beach goers looking for a delicious and nutritious meal or snack. Our cafe offers fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, healthy salads, Fair Trade organic coffee and teas and vegan baked goods. Specials made daily include homemade soups and veggie burgers, veggie stir-frys, burritos, salad specials and a variety of wraps. Our signature sandwich, The Bruce, is made with fresh caught, local yellow-fin tuna piled high and served on 7-grain bread. Seating is available outside in our private garden, or inside if you need a break from the sun. Our friendly staff is there to make sure you are greeted with a smile and leave feeling happily rejuvenated. Owners, Lauren Katz, a graduate from NYU with a masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and Chef Andrea Mavro, a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in culinary arts from The Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC work together to help enhance your experience at Naturally Good, and guide you towards becoming a more healthy individual.

We stopped for lunch on a day trip from Brooklyn. Good food, prompt service, clean. Overall, good value for the price. I would go back.

We had three meals here, two breakfasts (one take-out) and a lunch. The food was very good, although a little bland without salsa. Probably the most enjoyable visit was on a warm afternoon when we could sit out in the garden. I was a little shocked by all the non-recyclable materials used to package and serve the food (basically everything... More

Hi Helen. I'm glad you got to enjoy the garden before it gets too cold, but I'm sorry you were disturbed by our not so eco appearance. This past June, when we opened the new store, we also turned over a new leaf and replaced all of our disposables with eco-friendly ones. I hope it'll make you feel better to... More

And we love WHEATGRASS LADY! Thanks "E" for the great review. You actually inspired one of our seasonal staff members to save some wheatgrass pulp for herself. Sadly it ended up in the garbage because she didn't know what to do with it! Next time you're in, give us a little lesson on the pulp please... Lauren More

This is a nice Organic Grocer / Café. The egg sandwich was excellent, the meal was served very quickly.

The food is delicious and healthy. I enjoy the outdoor seating area as well. The only two drawbacks are that everything is a bit over priced and the interior is small. It tends to get very crowded inside on a busy day.

The food here is pretty good, but the counter people make me dread going in here. They are painfully slow and consistently leave me standing at the counter while they chat or stare into space. Even when I get their attention the mood is snotty and unapologetic. It's almost comical really. Please speed it up and appreciate the business when... More

Hello happydancing, and thank you for the review. I'm sorry you weren't given the attention you deserved as a valued customer. I will keep a good eye on the counter area to make sure it's not a common occurrence. Thanks again for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed our food! Lauren More

This place is great. Not only can you get organic eggs for breakfast, you can pick up a few little bits from their grocery aisle. Breakfast was great. Pretty overpriced for the grocery items, but you pay for what you want, don't you?

Tried Naturally good during this years Montauk vacation and I'm sure we stumbled onto something very refreshingly new. Organic, eclectic, spacious, and clean. Good food and relaxing (especially in the outdoor seating area in the rear) experience here.
