Montauk Lake has a few eating options along its shores, using the location as a drawcard for waterfront noshing. The Cross Eyed Clam prefers to harness its clientele by offering a late night bar with cocktails, flat screen televisions and entertainment. The late night party scene is a distant memory for this pair, so a more laid back lunch during... More

The staff were very nice. Our service was excellent. The food was delicious. It was less expensive than Gosman's and just as good. I strongly recommend to come here and then can walk or drive to Gosman's to go shopping. The money you save here can be used in the stores. It is near Gosman's anyway, so you get bang... More

My family and I had eaten at the Crabby Cowboy a few nights earlier. I had a very good meal but the service was slow and it was expensive. My wife and I were still in a seafood mood and she chose this place. We said what the heck. It is not much to look at. Slightly above a dive... More

Chef came out and introduced himself. Very personable. Blackened garlic shrimp App was awesome! Fish tacos worth the price. I recommend it for kids too. So few restaurants in montauk have kids menus and this one had fresh fish and chips for them. Worth the trip.

Fantastic place! The fish tacos WERE amazing. Also had grilled scallops and shrimp. The chef even came out to chat. What a nice guy. And the service was so friendly. It was mid week so it was quiet. Entrance can deceive as you see a bar as you enter but the tables are off to one side. Went with kids... More

Read in a local paper about this restaurant and the fantastic new chef, so thought we would try it. Went Sat night around 7:30- place was empty. Maybe one other table filled. My husband and I shared the calamari for appetizer. Then ordered a salad and the chicken paillard. Salad was good but my meal came out about 5 min... More

Went for breakfast, best value in Montauk. Oh, and the food was excellent. They do this thing with hot sauce on hash browns that's just awesome!

From early morning until wee hours of the morning cross eyed clam is always at your service. The waitress Stephanie was one of the most pleasant young ladies I have ever met. The cook came out to make sure all was ok and it most definately was. The portions of food were more than you could imagine. This is a... More

I was so excited to try this place based on the reviews. However, I was left disappointed. The night we went was fairly quiet, three tables and some people at the bar. Based on the amount of people there, the service was slow. My husband's water stood empty as the waitress passed by several times, finally when we asked her... More
