I hesitate writing this review because the picture above is not the Gulf Coast Kitchen at the Montauk Yacht Club, yet the address is correct. If you go to the webstie, you will see that it looks nothing like the Trip Advisor thumbnail, however, the reviews to the right seem to indicate that this is indeed the restaurant of which... More

Had dinner at gulf coast, service was ok and nice atmosphere. But the food was terrible. The filet was overcooked and dryed out.The stuffed flounder was beyond bad.The salad was so salty from the dressing. The mash ptoatoes was like soup, very waterly.I never complain about restraunts but i should have walked out and just left a tip, service was ok.

My wife and I stayed at the Montauk Yacht Club for one night. We had business in the area. I had stayed at the club before and really had never had a problem with their restaurant. We were tired and just wanted to have a good meal and turn in for the evening. My wife called the restaurant, and the... More

This was the worst meal we had of our trip. There was a 90 minute wait for our main course. Once served, 3 of the 5 meals we ordered were disgusting including the Salmon Roulade wrapped in plastic which should have been removed. It you value your health or your dollars, find someplace else to eat.

We ate dinner two nights in a row at the Gulf Coast Kitchen and the food was amazing both nights. We could not have been happier. We have 3 little kids and this was perfect for them as well. There is a great kids menu as well. Can't go wrong with any of the seafood dishes. We also had the... More

The food is always good here. It is quiet, reserved and overlooking the water. A good place to eat after a busy day.

This is a wonderful secret place for the Holidays. I have not previously been aware of the Yacht Club being a place for everyone to dine. What a magnificent success to our holiday experiment. A little birdie told us the Yacht club did a Prix Fixe Thanksgiving feast. With the children and grandchildren scattered across the nation and not here,... More

An excellent menu of seafood, meat and poultry in a seafaring environment. Can be pricey , but worth the price as the food is exceptionally fresh, the service energetic and polite. Great to look out on the bay and watch the big yachts moored at the yacht club.

Enjoyed a delightful meal this season. All the traditional foods, turkey and ham. Was greeted by my host Matt who referred me to your page here. I am happy to say I enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

While the food is admittedly tasty this year, I started with an appetizer of Tomato and Mozzarella which, in most places, is a dish which can easily be shared by two. When the plate arrived, there were five thin slices of tomato and three tiny grape sized pieces of mozzarella. I'm glad that I insisted that my wife order her... More
