Good diner

Good food and service. Eggs done as asked, hash browns a little undercooked, and toast was toast. Friendly faces waited on me.

Usually diners are warm friendly places with huge portions of food. This place was none of that. We had burgers, were well done and small.

Ordered a cheeseburger....medium. It was a little strange, and not what I was used to getting at this once great diner. It was huge. About 1/2 lb. of meat and like 3/4 of an inch thick with flat sides, kind of like a hockey puck. It was slightly charred on the outside (as any flame broiled burger should be) but... More

I used to visit this diner a lot haven't been in a while. I am sorry that I stopped the food is awful tasteless and very starchy the rice was like glue. The prices have doubled and it looks old and dingy. Don't waste your money

I like to stop in here on a Sunday morning and have the waffles eggs and sausage. They have good coffee and the service is excellent.

There's something a little downscale about this diner. It's unfair to review diners, since they all offer similar short-order food, but it seems they just try to get by here. Service is perfunctory, not as friendly as you'd expect. The decor is on the baroque side, which I don't understand. Why do owners feel a need to use a lot... More

Service is acceptable. Owners on site are not at all friendly to regular customers. Does not appreciate loyalty. Food is fair and prices are moderate, but not great. Recent menu changes removed some breakfast specials; what's left is your usual offerings.

Since the renovation the prices have gone up, the menu has been slashed and the food isn't much better. It's not very good but the staff is friendly and attentive. If you are traveling in the area, it is relatively convenient to the highway and there is enough variety for most individuals, as diners typically are. If your expectations aren't... More

My husband and I are new to the Orange county area. After a terrible visit to Chester and Goshen diners, we have now made this our breakfast / lunch spot when we are on the run even though we live in Chester and not Monroe. It is a little out of the way but the food is good, service is... More

As with most diners I would recommend sticking to the burgers and the eggs...The dinners are cheap quality food. It is expensive for breakfast. I think we paid about $8.00 for bacon and eggs. Burgers are good as are their fries.
