A Hidden Gem in A great Town

One of my favorite places for dinner before or after a movie. Excellent salads , salmon , chicken and wine. It never disappoints.

This restaurant was so delicious and the service was so good we ate here twice on our recent trip to Litchfield County. A wonderful farm to table ( vegetables grown in the back yard) menu that ranged from fish, chicken, pasta and meat all beautifully prepared. Remember to leave room for their homemade desserts!

Every time that I have been there recently, everyone loved his or her meal. I have had scallops, steak, appetizers, desert - all good. I had been there years ago and stayed away after a bad service experience - my loss.

This beautiful old residence, converted into a fine dining restaurant, has warmth written all over it. From the non-obtrusive entry to the wine cork decorated dining room wall and the friendly people, walking into this place makes you immediately happy and content. The bar in the main dining room area only serves beer and wine but has a decent selection.... More

Millerton is a great little town and there are a number of choices for dinner. My husband and I tried this place on a tip from a friend who is actually a professional chef and who lives in the area. We are happy we did! We had a lovely meal -- we almost always order fish-- which was well cooked... More

Atmosphere is a little stark but the food is exceptional for a small town. The kale and pear salad was perfect. The mussels delicious. The clams garlicky and spicy. The mushroom risotto trumped the not good quail. Great wine list. Good service. Go.

For a VERY average place...they ALL think they are so special! Many mistakes in the prep & follow through and they NEVER answer your questions! Not a return place.

I have been to the restaurant about three or four times. Each time there was something to fuss about. Sporadic service, annoying selection of music, uneven cuisine and it can be a very noisy place. But having said that, each time I go it is getting better and better. The food is very fresh and the portions generous. There is... More

Visited there last year and loved it. Visited this year and the service was very good/attentive and the food was very flavorful. However, the tuna needed to be more rare for my dish and the pappardelle was seriously undercooked, well beyond al dente, (sauce was amazing) on another.........so close.

Driving down from Connecticut along the route 7 corridor, a beautiful drive on a gorgeous day, I was heading West and looking for a place to dine outside. As I approached the Village of Millerton, I noticed three dining options: one a dark looking tapas place that people outside raved about, another a lovely Colonial B&B that was serving dinner...
