High caliber food

Atmosphere is a little stark but the food is exceptional for a small town. The kale and pear salad was perfect. The mussels delicious. The clams garlicky and spicy. The mushroom risotto trumped the not good quail. Great wine list. Good service. Go.

Millerton is a great little town and there are a number of choices for dinner. My husband and I tried this place on a tip from a friend who is actually a professional chef and who lives in the area. We are happy we did! We had a lovely meal -- we almost always order fish-- which was well cooked... More

For a VERY average place...they ALL think they are so special! Many mistakes in the prep & follow through and they NEVER answer your questions! Not a return place.

I have been to the restaurant about three or four times. Each time there was something to fuss about. Sporadic service, annoying selection of music, uneven cuisine and it can be a very noisy place. But having said that, each time I go it is getting better and better. The food is very fresh and the portions generous. There is... More

I have eaten here many times in tbe past. Friends came to town and I suggested this place. Service started out ok,but, our wine was forgotten so we cancelled it. Our food came in spurts, (chef has no timing skills?) Caeser salad very dull no taste. The chicken had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. ..how did they get that glaze on... More

Visited there last year and loved it. Visited this year and the service was very good/attentive and the food was very flavorful. However, the tuna needed to be more rare for my dish and the pappardelle was seriously undercooked, well beyond al dente, (sauce was amazing) on another.........so close.

Driving down from Connecticut along the route 7 corridor, a beautiful drive on a gorgeous day, I was heading West and looking for a place to dine outside. As I approached the Village of Millerton, I noticed three dining options: one a dark looking tapas place that people outside raved about, another a lovely Colonial B&B that was serving dinner... Have heard about Manna Dew for years but never found it open when I was in the area. Finally hit it on a Monday afternoon when many of the area's restaurants are closed. We were only looking for a quiet place for a glass of wine but we found it and so much more. The bar room was small, but... More

We've been to Mana Dew many times and are never disappointed with the menus or the quality of the food. Not the cheapest restaurant in the area, but nevertheless excellent value for what you receive. Probably one of the the best places around for dinner. Staff are very professional and friendly.

We often stop there for dinner after picking up visitors from the Wassaic station. It's a cosy little place, with imaginative, thoughtful food. You get the feeling that the chef cares about what he puts in front of you. The salads are especially creative.
