We really went for the tea tasting room, but decided to have a nibble and did. It was a very good choice, even though we were there on a Saturday when Harney & Sons had a major event going on at their nearby tea factory. We had to wait a bit, but got a table before we expected to and... More

If you have any interest in tea this is a perfect place. First your the huge warehouse where the blend their teas. We had a very informative tour guide and even met Mr Harney himself. Then we had lunch at their downtown Millertown restaurant. Wonderful food and atmosphere. It's small inside and go early, unless you don't mind sitting outdoors.... More

The lunches here are simple, different and very good. The mushroom soup was the best I have ever had. It was mildly spicy and their vegetables in curry over brown rice was delightful. All of the ingredients are local, fresh and of high quality. They have over a hundred varieties of tea and a small shop with tea accessories. My... More

Spent the day in Millerton and visited the Harney Tea Shop. Had a very nice tasting of teas from around the world. We stayed for a light lunch in the café off of the tea room. Huge range of teas to choose from makes this a wonderful lunch spot.

Admittedly, I am a big fan of tea. so my main purpose was to go to the store & tasting room. the café has an awesome menu. a lot of the menu items are locally sourced. we had a large party, so they put us in a separate room which was a little warm on a July day, but overall... More

We drove to Millerton to taste and buy tea. We did not go to dine. So we don't have anything to say about their food. BUT their teas are first rate. They have a very nice tasting room, where there are two teas already brewed you can taste, and each person gets a choice of one tea to be brewed... More

A huge range of teas to choose from and beautiful scones, jam and clotted cream - would do credit to a Devon tea-room in the UK! Highly recommended when you are next in Millerton.

We stopped in to get some tea and found the lunch menu appealing. Delicious kale and coconut milk soup, perfectly seasoned. Grilled cheese made on hearty wheat bread with a tea cheese, bacon and tomato (added for a reasonable amount more) was just crunchy and gooey enough! Served with thick potato chips made for a filling lunch portion. Of course... More

I enjoy conversing with the friendly tea servers who are very informative about the history, cultivation and culture surrounding tea. Very wise approach to getting one interested in tea by offering tastes and then letting the customer chose a type of tea (out of probably over 100) to have brewed for cup of tea…. all for free! The gift shop... More

We stopped and visited the tasting room. The five tea flight tasting was both fun and educational. Our "guide" was well schooled in the origins of the teas, treatment, how to evaluate, etc. She was very helpful in teaching. The tea bar was closed when we stopped in so can't speak to that. We had fun with the tasting and... More
