Ah, that Tarte Tatin

Cafe Les Baux is something of a blessing. It is very rare anywhere, in fact, to find a place offering simultaneously authentic and yet simple french cuisine. My boyfriend and I dined here for a date night and were blown away by the food. Service was a little slow, but they were extremely busy so it could be forgivable. We had the escargot for an appetizer which was wonderful, and the mussels and duck for entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and would go back in... More

Warm and cozy in winter, both the food and the setting but also cozy in the summer. We eat there a dozen times a year and no disappointments. The standards ---frisee salad, steak frite, onion soup, hamburger, liver, goat cheese salad are all always great. But so are the specials for the day. Staff is friendly and professional. Moderately priced wine list. Standard French restaurant menu. Been there 6 times. Every time has been yummy. Small place.

We eat at Les Baux once a week. It is the best restaurant in the Hudson valley area. The food, the staff and the atmosphere are divine. You truly need to experience it for yourself. Second to none. consistently delicious!!

This has to be my favorite restaurant in Millbrook. The food is excellent, every single time we go there. The service is friendly and efficient. We have had most of the dishes on the menu and they do not disappoint. Cafe Les Baux is a real gem, better than a lot of French restaurants in France.

Small and intimate, so can be noisy if crowded, but worth it for amazing food. Interesting menu with many specials so you can return frequently without getting bored. We normally come for lunch so the smoked salmon plate, the fruit and cheese tray, or one of the salads suits us. Their soups are lovely, especially the French onion and for... More

Extremely small, yet cozy atmosphere with more "Hits" than "Misses" on the menu. My husband really enjoyed his escargo app and pork tenderloin entree. My beet and goat cheese salad was delicious, but was was a little disappointed in the duck---a little bland, a lot rare, and no crisp. The potato au gratin side was fantastic--best thing I had! Extensive... More

If in Millbrook its a no brainer where to eat for dinner. Les Baux will not disappoint. Escargot perfect. Fruit and Cheese platter very well presented. The Pate well executed. For dinner (we were a party of 5) Lamb chops, Chicken, Duck and 2 Steaks. All cooked very well. Wished the Duck was crispy, only real gripe was the lamb.... More
