The atmosphere in this small cafe is wonderful; the staff are helpful, the food terrific; watching the chef cook everything in a wood fired oven was the best part!!!

We stopped here on our way home from the Millbrook Winery and I'm so glad we did. We got there a little before 5 and they seated us even though dinner didn't start till 5. They were so nice and the food was excellent. Would recommend it to anyone. Great beer selection as well.

Had dinner with relatives on Thursday, September 25, 2014 and the service, food presentation and quality was excellent. Unfortunately, the open hearth grill was apparently not vented properly so the dining room was both hot and very smoky. Had to hang out the clothing for two days to get rid of the smell. David T. What a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I invited family for my husband's birthday and everyone loved their meals. The staff didn't even have to be asked to bring out a surprise birthday piece of cake. We love the smell of the wood burning oven, the cafe is always peaceful... More

We were on a bus trip of the Hudson Valley gardens and checked Tripadvisor for the best eatery in Millbrook. We told the server we were on a schedule and she did her best. The food comes out blazing hot out of the wood fired oven on the iron plate. My wife had the broiled salmon and shrimp with potato... More

Not only good food but the wood burning oven added something on a cool day. I started with the scallops in plenty of garlic and chardonnay; excellent and the crusty roll was great to sop up the garlic mixture. My wife started her meal with the house salad; very good except for the tomatoes which had been refrigerated. The sesame-ginger... More

We enjoyed our dinner here, from the warm welcome by staff, to the chance to chat with the chef at the wood-fired grille. All courses - salad to the fruit with Belgian chocolate fondue - were excellent. The dinner prices were fair. We're glad we chose to walk through their doors.

I have always enjoyed the characteristics of this cozy delectable restaurant in Millbrook. The food is excellent and great choices on the menu. I have had the boneless trout; omg it's always so good cooked in a wood burning oven (most everything is). The lamb chops exceptional. As I said for ladies getting together, it is wonderful. Going with my... More
