Lucky find

Went for a ride in our new car to Middletown. Not much in the town but we found Nina. Walked inside but no staff was around. People were in the dining room but the bar area was unattended which is where you walk in. Nicely decorated, city meets country. Nobody came so we left. Walked up the street... read more

This place has probably the best food in the area hands down. I've been here 2x and was impressed. I came for brunch & dinner & food was great!

Had a business dinner with two associates here last night. Walked through the bar area into the main dining. Rustic charm with brick walls and a tin ceiling. Nice wine list contained some standards as well as a variety of different offerings - prices were reasonable. Ben, our waiter was very attentive. Described the specials of the evening, and all... I don't remember when we first tried Nina's but I do remember it was freezing and we were sat by the front window where I froze. But, the food was terrific (even if you don't really understand the description from the usually young, energetic waite staff). They try to make you think they know...but not all of them know...Anyway, the... More

We had dinner at this restaurant pre camp visiting day. The place is well decorated and we had a reservation and were seated promply. It took very long to get our dinner served. We were advised that their was a problem with the paper ordering system in the kitchen. The manager however apologized and handled the situation properly. The food... More

We dined at Nina's last night, a Thursday. The restaurant is in an old building, completely renovated but retaining the charm of yesteryear - the high tin ceiling, the brick walls, the large windows, wooden floor, the personalized service. And the FOOD! My duck breast sat atop a light "perfumed" sauce accompanied by julienned vegetables and potato croquette. Osso Boco... More

Nina's is a great experience. If you sit at the bar and have their pomegranate martinis they are delicious. The food is very good cuisine style. Some of the wait staff are very nice. Not all of the hostesses are friendly. Food is pricey for Middletown but the restaurant has a nice feel.

Never disappointed , always wonderful . My husband 's favorite braised short ribs thankfully is always on the menu. I have been pleased with numerous fish & pasta dishes, and the desserts are worth saving room. Service friendly, efficient and welcoming

Every time I go here I have a great meal. Staff is friendly and helpful, since I now eat gluten free. I can't have the meals I used to have here, but what I can have is still amazing!

Local place that's been on the scene for years. I mistakenly avoided it as I go for new, fresh & exciting food. Boy, was I wrong! Nina's is everything I crave: warm atmosphere, friendly, excellent service/excellent food that is most certainly fresh and exciting with great choices! And, it's now a "go-to" for me. Again, boy, was I wrong! One... More
