Best bagels around

A true bagelery and bakery - always fresh, plump bagels in the true NY style. Gets busy on weekend mornings but worth the wait. Bakery items are also flavorful and fresh, and they sell Boar's Head cold cuts and dairy items (juice, eggs, milk, etc.).

Best bagels around Melville... And maybe I am always lucky, but every time I go there the bagels are just coming out of the oven and they are to die for!

I have lived here for 11 years and never liked the bagels here. They taste like dirty dishwater. Today, out of desperation and lack of time, I went in to grab lunch. There was no line as it was already later in the day. There were four people "working" behind the counter, but only one of them acknowledged me even... More

Really good bagels and accompanying stuff...cream cheeses, smoked fish, salads cakes and pastries. Their plot to have you pass by all the cakes and pastries to get to counter gets me every time!

This is the only place I go to get bagels. They outshine every other place in the area and the bagels are always fresh. Often I get them hot right out of the oven. The spreads are very good although as other have said, can be a bit pricey. Since I don't go that often, I spend the bucks as... More

Reasonably priced for real bagels. A little pricey for toppings and spreads, but hey, Waldbaum's supermarket is nearby. Many nearby bagels places do not make them right. They do it right here!

While living in the area I would frequent Bagel Biz on the weekends. I would get either bagels or an egg sandwich. The few times I got a muffin, or something from the bakery I was not impressed. Commercial quality, I prefer to make my own baked goods. The bagels are some of the best I've ever had, besides a... More

Best neighborhood bagel shop. The expanded bakery is also a local "go to" place to fulfill your confection needs.

Great bagels and deli. A favorite weekend stop before church. Also Bagel biz caters special occassions or business meetings.

$12.99 a pound for Waldorf style chicken salad. Bagels were good if fresh, but not worth the money for their salads.
