Good Food and Service but not worth the price

I was on business in Melville and went to Blackstone. The room was noisy and crowded yet the pricing was on par with intimate and quiet. The sushi was tasty but not the freshest, I am a sushi fanatic and the freshest fish looks and feels really fresh, not so fresh tastes okay but shows its age... read more

My husband and I hadn't been to Blackstone in almost a year, and decided to go last night. We made reservations but arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink and an appetizer. I had a blue drink in a martini glass that was delicious. I forget the name of it, but it had coconut rum, Hpnotiq and... More

We have a 4 person dinner, shared some appetizers and sushi. No Alcohol whatsoever and the bill was $350.00. We had Porterhouse for 2, the steak was unimpressive. We have had better here. the Lobster cocktail appetizer was good, but overcooked. They also messed up my daughters Sushi order, they brought out salmon instead if Shrimp. My husband had fish,... This was a business dinner for a party of five. The table was round which aided conversation and the wait staff attentive without being intrusive. Steaks and shellfish are specialties and the size of these items is impressive. I chose simply grilled salmon and it was a perfect medium. The chopped vegetable salad is a great starter and the quantity... More

2 for $99 dinner, 3 courses, was top notch. Ordered lobster and steak (filet mignon) for one, and Order the triple play, chicken, shrimp and steak (filet mignon) for the other. Wow. Everything was amazing. Probably one of the best dinners I've ever had, up there with Morton's in NYC. It was white glove service all the way...3 servers serving... More

If you are into a scene of meat heads then this is your place. Food is fine but patrons are ridiculous. I suppose a poor rating for the restaurant is not very fair but the dining experience is primary to me.

Always hear the hype of Blackstone and decided to try it with my husband. Two steaks, two sides, two desserts and two glasses of wine for $400?! That's a little insane. It wasn't even half as good as Peter Lugers which is half the price. Will not be back ever.

What can you say when every facet of a restaurant shines. From being seated promptly, to being doted over by attentive, professional staff. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and I just needed to cast a glace to get attention. The wine list is fantastic, albeit voluminous- especially for Cabs. Wide selection of good whiskey too. Shrimp and stone crab apps... More

We were there for New Year's Eve. Usually on such a busy night you would expect the service not to be up to par - not true at Blackstone's. The service was impeccable - the server was professional and courteous. The food was served to us in a very timely manner. The sushi appetizer was enough for a meal. The... More
