Talk about homemade sandwiches from moms kitchen. This is the best around!! I haven't had a sandwich that I didn't like and the sweet potato tots are rockin!!
This wonderful restaurant serves great food. After having the best Philly Cheesesteak of my life (and I seek out Philly Cheesesteaks), I spoke with the owner. They really take the extra time and use the very best ingredients to serve a great sandwich. The owner told me that they went through 20 bakeries to get the right bread. They roast... More
Roast is a tiny sandwich shop that you might drive right past and not notice. The parking is almost nonexistent and we had to circle around and eventually park on the street. As for the food, they use fresh local ingredients and the lines and wait are well worth it! You order at the counter, find a seat, ( or... More
We stopped off on our way out east and are very glad we did. Parking is bit tricky, but it is so worth it! We had the tomato bisque, pork panini and cheesesteak...oh yeah and some handcut fries. All different and all wonderful! Our kids (9 and 7) really enjoyed it too. The grilled cheese is HUGE! We will return... More
I am not a soup and sandwich person. I find soup dull and sandwiches always have too much bread and condiments. I am a changed woman. This is an unassuming storefront in a meager stripmall on a busy street. You really have to look for it to find it. The inside is a counter where you order (they bring you... More
Holy Delicious! I'd heard about Roast for a while from many of my "foodie'" friends. I finally got to try it myself several months ago, and I've been back many times since. This place is great! It's like a gourmet version of Panera. The difference, however, between Roast and Panera, is that Roast obviously really cares about the food they... More
Really good food that is made gourmet, but its a very small place lacks enough parking. The best sandwich is the meatball or the cheesesteak. Also the French fries with a chipotles mayo is awesome.
Roast has great specials every day. The corn and lobster salad is simply the best. While their prices are a bit higher than some of the other places that deliver, you always get fresh quality food rather than processed. Definitely worth it.
We stopped by this sandwich shop on an app recommendation, looking for the best of the best to eat during our stay. We had an excellent meal there, and loved the unique plates! The food was a great portion and was quickly served and fresh. This hidden gem (small but worth it) is a total must if in the area!
