The food is great. I've been there a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The roast pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich were excellent. I've never heard a bad word about the food, other than it can get a bit pricey for lunch. You pay for the quality, I guess. The place is waaay too small for the... More

Seriously awesome find through yelp. We've driven by here a zillion times and would never have noticed it. And from the outside it's totally not what you'd expect when you see the inside (modern, clean and fresh). For this area? To have over a 100 yelp reviews? that's phenomenal. *BBQ roast pork sandwich: Grilled Pineapple, Charred Red Onions, Cheddar, and... More

My husband & I stopped for lunch on a Saturday since during the week it can be too difficult to find a parking spot here. It's a small place, tucked into the back corner of a shopping mall. I didn't expect much, but was immediately impressed by the menu. The salad/wrap/sandwich/panini choices were more interesting than typical deli. It was... More

I would definitely order from Roast every day if I could. The mix of fresh ingredients, in new and exciting ways, elevates the humble sandwich to culinary masterpieces. And not only sandwiches, but salads too. I recently had a potato salad with potatoes, asparagus and lobster that was so delicious and fresh, that I wouldn't even share it (despite multiple... More

My friend recommended going here and warned me that it was very small and very crowded. Fortunately it is a school holiday so the teenagers were not having lunch there today. I had an amazing pistachio crusted chicken salad with loads of blueberries , strawberries and pistachios, delicious greens and a light cocoanut dressing. I loved it! My friend had... More

Roast has a home cooked quality that makes you happy. There are many "not your ordinary" sandwiches at a moderate price along with equally satisfying sides and salads. At $9 a sandwich on all sorts of quality breads, this spot's hard to beat.

These sandwiches are FABULOUS but you have to wait forever to get them once you order. A small business that's a little bit of a victim of their own success. Call ahead. Would get five stars if the food came out faster!

If you ever drive on Route 110 in Melville around lunch time, do stop here. Crab cake sandwich was very good. New England clam chowder interesting with bits of bacon. Hard to park and small place but very good simple food. Will be back.

This place is tiny and has limited parking but the food is very good. Fresh sandwiches and salads. Great menu with interesting choices. Crab cake wrap was outstanding. Can't wait to go back and try the soup and another sandwich. Beet salad with apple cider vinagrette was delicious. Don't miss this place if you are in Melville.
