One of my regular monthly lunch spots. Food was good. While I have no complaints, there was nothing special.

We were part of a corporate dinner event. So the menu was a pre-fixed menu. Had the Lobster Bisque soup, Salmon & Pumpkin Cheese cake. Service was decent and we had a separate room. I did not drink (had tomato juice only) but those who did had a choice of wines and beers to suits their tastes.
party of six...five very satisfied, sixth served uncooked duck (center still colder than room temperature!), service was fine, not a lot of upscale choices in this area, benefits from the lack of competition
Well decorated and bar/scene to die for. Drinks and wine selection great. Lots of room to sit inside and out for either happy hour or waiting for table. Maybe because it was for restaurant week that the chef might have been off. We usually love Tom Schaudel's restaurants but this was not up to his usual standards. I ordered a... More
This was my second time at Jewel. We ordered pizzas for appetizers (delish), I had the scallops (very good), and the creme brule banana bread pudding (average). The fig martini is AWESOME. The decor and atmosphere is very nice and quite trendy. Overall, I think it's slightly overpriced for the food, but it's definitely a nice night out in terms... More
Great ambiance. The food was excellent as was the service. Everything comes out plated beatifully, like it belongs on a TV show. You must check out the mens room.
I have now eaten here a few times. The quality of the food is excellent. But, this is a tough venue if you have a larger group as it is noisy and tough to hear everyone at the table.
We went here restaurant week. Fixed menu $27.50 great fair price. Large, varied menu. Salmon and coconut rice dish amazonf. Steak incredible. Presentation and service was great.
Although we enjoyed the food when we went to Jewel for dinner on October 2, based on their lack of customer service, I will not return. I made a reservation for my wife and myself based on an advertisement that I had seen in Newsday offering a prix fixe 3 course lobster fest. When I requested this item from our... More
Its a trendy place. The crowd is your typical business crowd. I would say its kind of douchy. Parking could be better. Its inside a business building so parking can be limited. The food is good but nothing will blow you away. But its a visually nice hotel. You can impress a date or group. The look is the appeal.
