Although it doesn't beat my favorite FL Wine Bar, LaPiazza is fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and classy, the food is delicious, and everything about it is out of this world.

had dinner at La Piazza tonight with family. Several in our party are on strict dietary limitations and they were not well accommodated. The manager refused to substitute pasta for a vegetable and we were forced to purchase a side order vegetable for $7. Every other Italian restaurant in this area is more than happy to make a substitution like... More

I really am shocked! My husband and I discovered this gem a few weeks ago. We have visited many times and actually booked our small party because we were so impressed. This restuarant is a free standing structure located on route 110 in Melville about a mile from the walt whitman mall. The outside of the building is very pretty... More

Mostly go here for takeout. A little expensive, but food is good. Salad with Gorgonzola and pecans is great. My son loves the chicken roll. All the entrees we've gotten have been good. Big portions. Entrees should come with a salad or veggie for the price. Family favorite. Worth a visit and we're picky Italian eaters and expect it to... More

I don't mind untraditional Italian food as long as its tasty. This place is untraditional , over priced, and not tasty. The margaretti pizza was served cold and the sauce was bland. The cesear salad was also bland and the croutons seemed like they came from a grocery shelf. Not worth the money. Will not return.

Don't expect them to accommodate ANY kind of substitution at all for either me or my daughter. Even the owner wouldn't allow any kind of change/request. (we did not ask for anything crazy.... for example, just something other than the fried french fries that came with the meal) Poor customer service. From the owner as well!!! Ruined ours and my... We got here late but the food was all delicious and a nice introduction to Melville. Nice atmosphere. Not too expensive.

The food was uninteresting... The service was adequate... The prices a bit high...,too much fru-fru and not enough flavor at this establishment.. I was expecting more from this restaurant .... They need to do better if they expect to survive.

We ate dinner on Sunday night and waited about 10 minutes (not terrible at all). The waitress greeted us with a warm friendly smile. All was good until the food came out. My wife's pasta and meatball dish was dry and tasteless with a relatively small portion considering the price. She asked for more sauce and we noticed that they... More

I met 2 of my friends today to have lunch. When we arrived at12.15 the dining room was empty. We ordered 3 salads. The waiter was a nice guy but clearly not cut out this this kind of work. I'm not kidding at least 45 mins. When it finally arrived 2 of the 3 salads were ok. Mine wasn't. The... More
